All guitars, bass, woodwind, and keyboards performed by John Kline
All Drums performed by Magnus Brandell / Oddgrooves (recorded in MIDI format) with the exception of “Agent of Change”   (Track 6).   Drums for “Agent of Change” were sequenced by John Kline from a Core Jazz 4:4 groove  from the free version of Steven Slate Drums 5.5.    
All tracks mixed and mastered by John Kline using Presonus Studio One 6.0.

Guitars included an Ibanez Jem 7VWH, a JEM7V SBL, a JEM7EAFX, an Ibanez JS1000, and a Paul Reed Smith Hollowbody II with piezo.    The PRS is also fitted with a wireless Fishman Triple Play MIDI controller.   Some guitar tracks were processed with a Mesa Boogie FormulaPre direct into line inputs, others with a Mesa Boogie FormulaPre through a Mesa 50/50 amplifier through Reyes Tube Tamers and Eminence Delta Pro 12A speakers and a Seismic Audio cabinet.    Finally, some guitar tones were accomplished with the UAD-2 ENGL Savage 120 emulation with Presonus and UAD-2 plugins.

Keyboards were performed on an M-Audio Hammer 88 Controller.   Sound engines include UVI Orchestral Suite, UVI Falcon, Synthogy Ivory Italian Grand, KV331 Audio Synthmaster 1,  and Presonus Mai Tai.

Bass guitar was recorded with a Fender Jazz Bass with Bartolini Pickups through a Tech21 Sans Amp and an Origin Cali 76.

Jean Gordon has been producing music since 2013. Having learned to play the piano as a child he then went on to developed a passion for electronic music which finally led him to start writing music of his own. After realising his real name, Janne, was too complex to pronounce outside of Finland he took on the name "Jean" inspired by the famous Finnish composer Jean Sibelius (also a Janne) who similarly adopted the name 130 years earlier. Jean's first track Perdu was released by 5howtime Music in month and year.

From Dr. John:   Mark Christianson and I wrote this a few years ago, or shall I say we completed it.   I decided to re-eq the mix a bit and, well, I kind of like it's twisted darkness.  Mark has a knack for unusual rhythms and melodies.  

Mark of course played drums.  Duh!  He also wrote the strange rhythm guitar part.  It was not easy to learn, but I ended up performing it while he played drums.   He later added bass, and when nobody else was looking, I sang, played keyboards, and did some guitar shenanigans.

Wet Present is a record label, wholly owned by John Kline, for "The Music Therapy Experiment." and "John Kline.." 

John P. Kline, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist and multi-instrumentalist whose music spans classical, rock, jazz, and New Age. A lifelong admirer of classical composers and performers, Kline brings that sensibility into a catalogue that moves easily between heavy guitar work, improvisational passages, and ambient soundscapes.

He composes, performs, engineers, mixes, and masters his own recordings, shaping music that is eclectic yet deeply personal. His solo releases sit alongside his work under the name The Music Therapy Experiment (TMTE), a project built on collaborations with guest musicians while always centered on Kline’s compositions and recordings. A handful of tracks feature him alone, while others highlight the voices of collaborators, including Mark Christianson. The project’s name came from Kline’s own candid description of himself during a difficult time: “a music therapy experiment.”

Across all of his work, the common thread is curiosity. Whether listeners connect with reflective textures, jazz-inflected improvisation, or the drive of rock guitar, Kline’s music treats sound as an open-ended experiment — sometimes calm, sometimes restless, always human.
