Wonderful sound. You have a unique style which makes the theatre organ a richer, more lush romantic beast than I have heard with any other player. The textures you conjure here are just fabulously decadent!

It's wonderful to see these instruments being saved, but the obvious joy is hearing them played like this. I could spend a day looking at that "keyboard" with all of the registers and stops and wow!

Reportedly the last time the Hollywood Theatre (Detroit) Barton organ was played, March of 1959. Detroit church organist and former theatre organist John McCreary is heard first, at the 14:00 mark Bill Peck takes over and is a little more peppy.

This recording was made on December 7, 1961 on the Isis Theatre 4/34 Wurlitzer.  An open console followed a concert by Tom Sheen and Virgil Fox arrived.  This is a rare recording of a fun evening.
