I really wish the theater and organ were the same today. It sounds like the organ was a good fit for the Marbro and it had some very nice acoustics as well.

Reportedly the last time the Hollywood Theatre (Detroit) Barton organ was played, March of 1959. Detroit church organist and former theatre organist John McCreary is heard first, at the 14:00 mark Bill Peck takes over and is a little more peppy.

This recording was made on December 7, 1961 on the Isis Theatre 4/34 Wurlitzer.  An open console followed a concert by Tom Sheen and Virgil Fox arrived.  This is a rare recording of a fun evening.
