Congo Dia Ntotila formed in 2010 after a series of jams between John Kelly and Mulele Matondo. As a sound developed, it soon became clear that a full band should be formed out of this. Calling on musicians across the UK from both African and Western backgrounds, Congo Dia Ntotila began to further refine their sound.

The emphasis is on the favourite rhythms of the central African dance floor - Congolese Rumba, Zouk, Cameroonian Makosa etc., all with their highly sophisticated intermingling guitar parts - but with stronger elements of Jazz and Latin American music. This is aided with a live horn section (reminiscent of the early days of Congolese Rumba), a driving rhythm section and sometimes even additional dancers!

iAmalam is a live-performance electronic group created by Ryan Baird (guitar, laptop, percussion, toys) and Nick Muzyczka (keyboard, synth, melodica, laptop, toys). In live shows iAmalam uses Ableton to create live mixes of their tunes, with extra parts (solos, weird noises, shouting) added in real time by real instruments. Based in Shanghai, the group doesn't really have a particular artistic focus but hopes the tunes engage and uplift. iAmalam is indebted to odd-time groove music, the masters of the minimalist movement and many wonderful contemporary electronic artists.
