With the dream of becoming a recording artist at the age of 14, I began my journey with Klub Ent. out of Killeen, Texas. The group recorded over four mixtapes worth of material, in addition to recording singles and performing in shows and contests. In 2006, upon moving from Texas to Japan, I continued to record as a solo artist. Five years later I made the move to California. Hawd Head Music (HHM) is an independent record label that was founded by Jamaal "Joe Numbas" Zeigler in 2009. While enlisted in USMC Joe Numbas was apart of a group called "ZCG" which included C-Kool, G-Stack$, & Dedey B. Rodney Ballom (Frank Fingaz), a longtime friend of Jamaal, would provide beats as he was an up and coming producer, Numbas  came up with the name "Hawd Head Music". Hawd Head Music  symbolizes the 7th ward, a neighborhood he grew up in known as the city of New Orleans. Hawd Head Music also explains the type of music that the label will push and distribute to fans all over the world...music with substance, content, & lyricism that will spread a message of knowledge and unity. However, we also believe in having a good time, so party and fun music is another element we plan to bring.

Once Numbas was released off active duty in 2010, he moved back home to New Orleans and took a break from music to get adjusted to the civilian life again. He maintained a close friendship with WOA*H: a friend from a previous group "Da FAB" in Dallas, TX where he had been staying prior to joining the Marine Corps. He decided to move back to Dallas in 2011 where WOA*H was staying and started to revamp the Hawd Head Music label along with WOA*H. Joe Numbas was the 1st artist to release a single called "CREAM" and a mixtape "No Doze: Doze Sleep" off the label. Both single and mixtape were released in 2014.
