GRAND WAZOO are Australia's legendary 13 piece Soul Kings, formed in 1981 by band leader, arranger, trumpeter John Montesante ,with an unsurpassed record for presenting the most authentic and entertaining classic Black Soul Music Extravaganza in the southern hemisphere- performing soul hits from late 1960 -1980 , as well as horn bands like BST and Tower of Power, including rare gems and band  original tunes in the same 'brassy blaster' style.  The band has a repertoire of 300 arranged tunes and performs in Australia and internationally.
