Rose: What is all this?
Tai: Jeez, this place is grimy. How is the ground sticky everywhere I step??
Kass: Air's thick, too. Can't smell anything but sugar and sweat.
Kass: This place is miserable... where are we?
Magnus: It's a carnival, I guess. I didn't know one was in town.
Rose: What town are we even in???
Magnus: Uhh .... good question?
Magnus: No idea.
Tai: Wait, if we're in a carnival, then that means-

(Three oddly shaped clowns fall from above, howling with laughter.)

Tai: EW
Tai: NO
Tai: PLEASENO
(The clowns just giggle.)
(A short, round clown, with an unchanging expression and hollow eyes steps forward.)
???: The name's JIB!
???: These are my co-snorts, Jaunt and Jamblez!

(Said cohorts are a lanky, sickly, but gentle looking jester, and a clown who can only be described as looking like a doll that's been
played with too hard.)
(The tall one steps forward.)

Jaunt: It's a pleasure.
Jamblez: WHY HELLO THERE !
Jib: So! 

(Jib pulls out a long scroll, unfurls it, and begins reading off of it.)

Jib: Welcome to your ... et-urn-al ... damnstation?
Jaunt: Buddy, you still can't read.
Jamblez: He's TRYING!
Jib: I AM!!
Lumo: Uuuughhhhhhhhh...
Lumo: We're going to be here all day.
Lumo: Look, we're just trying to leave...

(The clowns laugh, and Jib tosses away the scroll.)

Jamblez: LEAVE??
Jaunt: Oh, you poor things...
Jib: What part of eternal damnstation did you not get?!
Jib: There's nowhere to go! You're DEAD! This is the end of the road!
Whole group: DEAD??
Rose: We're not dead!
Tai: How could we be dead??
Lumo: We just walked through a weird hole and we ended up here!
Kass: We can't REALLY be dead, right??
Jib: Well...
Jib: Now that I'm looking at you...

(Jib jabs Kass in the Jest.)

Jib: You're oddly solid...
Jaunt: And equally as opaque.
Jaunt: But then how are they here? They aren't supposed to be.
Jamblez: They already EXPLAINED that part! You BOZOS! Don't you ever LISTEN?!
Jamblez: We oughta have Specs take a look at them! He'd be able to figure you lot out.
Jaunt: We used have a nurse, but... Well, when injuries are meant to be permanent...
Jib: Didn't do anyone much good.
Jamblez: THAT old hag kept KILLING our DEAD!!

(The trio bursts into hideous laughter.)

Kass: You said... specs?
Jib: Spectacle!
Jaunt: He's the one who knows things around here.
Jamblez: Mister CLOWN COLLEGE himself!

Rose: So, ah... Jib, right?
Rose: Where can we find Mr. Spectacle?
Jamblez: Oh, PLEASE!
Jamblez: Save that kind of respect for the BOSS.
Jamblez: Four-eyes HARDLY deserves it.
Jaunt: I'd hate to agree...
Jib: No you wouldn't.

Jib: So, you'd like to know where to find that old Speck-of-dust, huh?
Jib: Well...
