plus de folie destructive. 
Une pensée très émue pour les peuples qui paient un lourd tribut 
de la démence des hommes.

As we all yearn for lasting tranquility and peace
in a world struggling to recover from a deadly pandemic
and exhausting, some have decided to take us to still
no more destructive madness.
A very moved thought for the peoples who pay a heavy price for the

Morphée m'a fait

Hello. Hope you’re all relatively okay, especially now in the world. I see I am in a winter lull musically. My focus is drawn away by bitter cold weather from a recent polar vortex and also, by what is happening in the world right now. Earlier in the week, it was -22F (-30C) one night. That’s fairly cold for the end of February. With the cold, there came a fair amount of snow and strong winds. I found myself outside shoveling snow and enjoying the balmy -10 temps. As I was shoveling, I noticed 3 deer beds in the fresh snow by the aspens, a short distance from the compost pile. When I finally shoveled back to the compost pile, I saw the deer had feasted on some old garden squash I had recently composted. Apparently deer like squash. Good to know, as there is only so much squash an old man like me can eat. Last night I tossed some smaller garden carrots back there for the deer and rabbits. By the time I got back inside my beard had already frozen. Anyway, this song is my way to work through some shit about my family, and by extension the world right now. Guess I am not a happy camper at the moment. For the most part all of the lyrics are ‘true’, but they are also painted by a Zeitgeist of how I saw things go down. The song is also a vehicle of catharsis, as I work to render out the last vestiges of resentment I may still have toward all this happy horseshit. (I laughed while recording this.) I can only hope the world finds its sanity, as I have given up hope for my family ever finding theirs… Thank you for dropping by. This song began its life in Poland, where our resident surf rock specialist, Artur, composed it on his giutar. He is a brilliant composer and expert player, so we're always glad to receive music from him. 
  Artur gave it to JJ to start the project, so JJ was first to the trough here, adding his breathy, moving organ throughout, as well as some slick envelope synth. Ken came along shorly after to give the song its heartbeat, adding his triumphant drums. As soon as he had a beat to play to, Josh added his four string fretless bass to the mix, completing the rhythm section. 
  Now it was the other guitarists turn to take a whack at it. Tez was first up, adding the magical the first and third solos, in the verse sections. He also lit up the intro and outro sections with some dynamic guitar solos, as well. Stephen went last, filling in the second and fourth solo sections in the choruses, as well as a textural guitar that you hear throught most of the song. He also added the exotic sitar you hear in about the middle. After all the music was laid down, Artur had the idea to add the vocal chorus towards the end, which Josh and JJ sung in four part harmony.
 Once we had it in the bag, we asked Stephen to produce it for us, which he did in his always trained, professional manner. 
  This is the eighth song we've done with Artur over the past about year and a half. We adore his music and him as a person, too. If you dig this song, you should hop over to his page and have a listen in case you're not already familiar. He loves surf music, and wanted to note the passing of surf rock legend, Brian Wilson this week. Wilson was more than just Pet Sounds, although that album is top class. He was a surf rock pioneer, who influenced a whole genre of music; a genre that's near and dear to Artur's heart. 
  We hope you enjoy listening to this song as much as we enjoyed creating it.

I have been experimenting with sounds since I was really young , when I was about 6 or 7 years old, after lots of pleading, from me, I managed to get my hands on a very old reel to reel tape machine, that everyone thought I was too young to have, and I discovered and loved recording. 
I played guitar and wrote songs in a indie punky band ,toured, made albums and worked in Studios. Now I work from my home studio in SW Germany,  using synths, groove boxes, guitars and vocals to produce electronic music. I also produce images through photography and  make ceramic sculpture.
