During a November 2022 visit of a Traveling Overseer in Maryland, the Overseer tells the short story of an 80-year-old Jehovah's Witness woman who was making evangelizing telephone calls as part of her ministry.

After making contact with a non-Witness man, this man became romantically involved with the woman, and the committed "fornication" - a disfellowshipping offense for the JWs.

Before the Jehovah's Witness organization started making Christian pop music songs and videos, young JWs with some musical talent got together and recorded some jam sessions and custom songs about their religion. 

Some of them poked fun at their own practices, like door-to-door book and magazine selling.
