Thick Optiks for the last 15 years has been a staple in his home town of Ogden Ut, droppin those funky dirty breaks and dark tech house flavor. Although for the last three years he has decided to take a step back and venture into a whole new identity and realm of music. SoulHacka-Dubstep & DES_DEMON-D&B are the 2 alias he uses With his signature Dark-n-Techy Styles Of Dubstep And Drum&Bass currently he has develop the 2 new alias for these styles because he felt that if he was to go by his original DJ name everybody would be expecting  house or breaks so he has came up with 2 names that fit these styles and genre perfectly. Now He has decided to switch things up again. I spoke with vincent recently about what he has been up to these last few months andhe indicated. That he has been working on a little experiment to totally drop his original DJ Name and go by a whole new Name. He said for the last 8 months he has been giving out demos stating he had found a DJ on the internet that was sick as hell and to give him a listen. Well in his own words he said to me that the feed back was alot better than he had expected and decided it was time to change it up again. When asked why this why now. Vincent said without skipping a beat. That his production work has been laying somber long enough and that he had finally found that harmonious vibration that makes him just want to be creative and inventive as possible. After words I asked him what was this sound that has him going nuts. He simply said (You Will just need to check out the 2 new mixes to find out. So be looking out for his debut project to help him promote & kick off his new DJ Name Thik - Optiks and, oh ya and newly developed label Cock'd N Loaded Recordings.
