Being born and raised on the illustrious island of Puerto Rico, Dj Kardona gleaned his passion for music while working at a store that sold records to local dj’s. His devotion to music only grew stronger under the influences of the sounds he heard produced by legendary dj’s such as Peter Rauhofer, Victor Calderone, Cindel, Nina Flowers, Ralphi Rosario, Abel Aguilera, and Twisted Dee. His nine year residency at Ricomar nightclub, and subsequent two year residency at Faces nightclub cultivated this even further leading him to chase the beats all the way to Boystown, Chicago where he currently holds a residency at the prestigious Hydrate Nightclub. When listening to Kardona you can expect to be carried away by a high energy sound mixed with vocals, drums, and latin undertones.
