Hi, I'm Jimmy Romeu. I'm a DJ and presenter with over 30 years of experience in the music world. I also did production back in '99, a field I'm currently returning to. My favorite styles that you can hear in my sessions and on my radio show "SmartSound" are: Dance, Techno, Trance, Progressive, as well as Remember from the '90s and '00s. You can currently listen to my radio show "SmartSound" on 90FM Valencia Dial 93.9 (Saturdays from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM). Other previous radio stations: F. Jolly Joker is a DJ and producer of electronic music, known for his style that blends techno, trance and progressive influences. His career has been characterized by continuous evolution, pushing more and more the boundaries of genres and trying to create a sound that was both powerful, emotional and engaging. With a passion for sound experimentation and a unique approach to production, Jolly Joker has managed to earn a prominent place in the international underground scene.

Born in Genoa and now based in Milan and Miami, Jolly Joker has developed a deep interest in electronic music from a young age. Raised in a musical context full of stimuli, he approached the dance scene of the 90s, a period in which genres such as trance and techno began to dominate the dance floors. His passion for these sounds pushed him to become a DJ, performing in local clubs and perfecting his technique.

His DJ career took off when he started referring to the big names on the European scene, but it's with his transition to music production that he's really caught on, developing a sound that mixes dreamy atmospheres with powerful bass and energetic rhythms.

Jolly Joker is known for his ability to mix the intensity of techno with the dreamy atmospheres and engaging trance melodies. His sound is characterized by powerful basses, hypnotic synthesizers and expertise in the use of rhythmic constructions. His tracks are often deep and progressive, with an intense attention to sound detail and a care for the dynamics that incites movement on the dancefloors.

His influences come mainly from artists who have marked the history of the techno and trance scene, such as Sven Väth, Carl Cox, Paul van Dyk and Ferry Corsten. The evolution of his sound is also the reflection of his double base, between Milan, the epicenter of the Italian techno scene, and Miami, a crossroads of global electronic music, which allowed him to come into contact with different musical cultures, further enriching his repertoire.

Jolly Joker began producing his music in the late 2000s, and quickly gained attention with his first tracks and remixes. His studio technique evolved rapidly, leading him to make songs that were supported and played by world-class DJs at major festivals and clubs.

His productions stand out for a perfect combination of energy and melody, which has become his trademark. Each Jolly Joker track is designed to engage the audience, with build-ups that create wait and drop that explode in powerful sound waves.
