I worry about You

It's a very old song I wrote in the early 70's. My Mum kept all the family pics in a biscuit tin.

Co-Written with Glenn Stocker and sung by a recording studio owner called Craig. I programmed the backing and played guitars.

This version was  recorded with Steve "Big Blues" Allen on lead guitar  in 2010.

I wrote this when i was 17 in 1969 so it's quite naive.
I didn't record it until 1988 with the help of some programming from Steve Rawlings.
I added slide guitar fills and a bit of percussion last year.

Shine Your Light

It's written and performed by myself. It's a bluesy love ballad.

The Flame

This was a song I wrote in about 1978 . I'd almost forgotten the song but played it to the guys in the band Booze 'N' Blooze in around 1989 at a rehearsal and they liked it. We later went into a studio and recorded about 13 songs in a day! The Band Members were Stevie Saunders (Rip) Peter Nash (Rip) Fergie Fulton, Jeremiah Marques, Cupsy Cutmore and myself. I must say that they did a fantastic job on the song. It was a really popular song at our gigs. It was probably the only song we played which wasn't strictly Blues.

Nobody Knows

I wrote this song and traveled to Nashville USA to record it. It is a poppy up-tempo country song.  It is sung by the beautiful Country singer Cadie Calhoun.

9 No Going Back

Its a demo of a song I wrote and recorded 30 years ago. I should have definitely worked harder on the guitar tone which was too plummy.
It's about how I felt about wanting to live in a peaceful world.

Wishful Thinking

I wrote, played and recorded this song in 2009 in my Mum's bedroom because a thirty years relationship had broken up in 2008. I met a spiritual lady called Lynda Roberts and she offered me a hand up when I was low. I don't know Lynda anymore but I thank you for being my Angel when I needed it. I went on to buy a narrow boat in Burton on Trent which was in a sorry state. I took 18 months to repair it and sail it to London, I renamed it "White Feather".

I'm a  retired Singer/Songwriter my instruments are: Vocals, Guitars/Rhythm/Lead/Slide/Acoustics, Harmonica, Percussion and a Keyboards.

I was co-founder of Booze 'n' Blooze .

I'm first and foremost a Songwriter.  I was double finalist in the UK song contest 2011 with two different songs, Finalist in the USA song of the year contest 2012 and have a co-written track on a USA Country album.
