Welcome to Harrogate Folk Club Soundcloud Site. We feature tracks that our magnificent regular singers and musicians have chosen to best represent themselves. The tracks also serve to showcase the wide range of talents that go to make up a typical Singers’ Night at Harrogate Folk Club. In Corona-virus-free times we usually meet on the first Sunday each month from 7:30 to 10:30pm. Our aim is for people to enjoy listening to, and taking part in, high quality traditional, roots and contemporary music, featuring the best of local and national musicians.

Enjoying making music in Harrogate and playing various venues including Harrogate Folk Club on the first Wednesday of every month.  I played the folk clubs in County Durham in the 60's; many venues in East Anglia with the folk group Merlin in the 70's and 80's; played jazz in Devon through the 90's; and had a fantastic musical time in Goodrich through the 'noughties' with Andy Herbert on bass in the bands - Loose Covers, Twisted Blues, Trilemma, and Twisted Jazz. Enjoyed 10 great years as guitarist for the Monmouth Big Band and am now focusing on playing acoustic instrumentals and songs in Yorkshire. Enjoy!
