Wrote this for our grandson Shay (turned 2 years old in February). When we took him to Disneyland for the first time we went on a ride I had come to hate ever since MY first trip to Disneyland decades ago... "It's a Small World". The song drove me nuts and the ride was WAY too long! But seeing it through Shay's eyes brought a whole new perspective. I just loved the look of wonder in his eyes! And of course we had to go on the ride again. AND we had to find a video of the ride on YouTube and watch it over and over and over...

I had written this lullaby quite a while ago but when I finally got around to making the track I knew I had to reference our Disneyland experience in some fashion. A few days after we went to the park I asked Shay what his favorite thing about Disneyland was and he said, "Small!" There it was! And of course I had to reference the Disney song in some fashion as well.
