Michele Adamson is heavily involved at the cutting edge of Dance music and has managed to carve out a unique presence both as a performer and producer. One day she might be performing her unique Electro Live show at Pacha while the next she could be recording her distinct and mesmerizing vocals with a variety of top-named producers.

With a unique and inspiring background it’s no surprise to find Michele equally at home writing, performing, DJ-ing or producing. If you can dance to it, you can almost guarantee that Michele will be involved at some stage or other! Michele has performed her ‘PsyVocal’ Trance, Electro and Chill-out live shows in countries in the Far and Middle East, Europe, the US, South America, Russia and Australia.

She has lent her vocal talents to numerous recordings and she can be heard on many compilations and esteemed artist albums, including Shpongle’s Tales Of The Inexpressible & Ineffable Mysteries from Shpongleland, Alan Parsons’ A Valid Path, Younger Brother’s Flock of Bleeps, and Infected Mushroom’s Converting Vegetarians. She has also collaborated with many other artists including Astrix, Dino Psaras, Art of Trance, GMS, Sub6 and Ronen Dahan.

You can catch Michele touring her solo psy-Vocal trance and chill out live shows to countries in the Far and Middle East, Europe, the US, South America, Russia & Australia. When not warbling Michele delivers wicked Dj sets of Electro, Trance and Eclectic chill (chillectro!!) as well as performing live with Shpongle & The Egg.

You all know by now that I'm a DJ thats simply passionate about music, this comes first to me. I haven't been comfortable over the past few years how the scene has progressed with people expecting DJ's to play all the hits when they perform in clubs. DJ's get pigeonholed into certain sub genres and are expected to play that sound only. I myself sometimes seemed to become a victim of that, I found myself playing harder sets due to the pressure/climate and tagged a 'Psy DJ'??

I'm a DJ that dips into all musical worlds, I simply play good music no matter what genre it takes me too. A true DJ should have the tools to hand to handle and control a dancefloor. I'm not playing half the music I want too while preforming in clubs, but this is being addressed with my JOOF Editions nights, longer DJ sets and playing at more underground clubs. My recent Essential mix also helped open the eyes to the other side of John 00 Fleming that the new generation of clubbers didn't know. My dedicated fans will know my 'White label' CD compilation series, and my previous Essential mixes in 2000/1 that have always showcased my deeper side. This is the true side of John 00 Fleming that is coming back! These changes have made me fall in love with DJing again, as I use the musical tools to express my musical story. The JOOF sound is back!

This is a mix I made while falling in love with my deeper side again that I want to share with you. This is what you'll hear from me while playing longer sets that will build to the hard side that you are more familiar with. To me, this is music to dance too. Music to get lost in. Music to escape. Music with emotions. 

I hope you feel the same and it brings you as much happiness as it has to me. Music is a very powerful tool.

We continue with the 10-year celebrations, May being the official 10th Birthday. The last few weeks we've had plenty of mixes looking forward especially from the 12-Hour show, so I decided to look back. Hi again,

Today was a special Global DJ Broadcast for all the listeners, as we kicked off our seventh Ibiza Summer Sessions season, where for the next three months we will be bringing you the very best magical moments emanating from La Isla Blanca throughout the summer.

Because of the fans I have always tried to make the opening and closing Ibiza Summer Sessions shows that little bit extra special. And in the case of the opening party, that means collating lots of exclusive tracks for debut radio play all in the one mix - almost like a mini-complation of sorts - combined as always with your current favorites and requests. 

When I was making the show I felt quite uncertain at times about how it was all flowing, and wasn't sure how the show would go over. So I've uploaded it here to give everyone the opportunity to absorb the set and get used to the newer tracks on offer. As always, I'd be curious to hear your feedback so let me know what you think in the comments. 

Hope that this will be a nice little soundtrack to your weekend, as a crazy Las Vegas weekend of the Electric Daisy Carnival on Saturday and back to back with Ferry at TAO Beach on Sunday awaits. Enjoy the journey.

Global DJ Broadcast: Ibiza Summer Sessions Opening 2013

Back from Europe, Christopher Lawrence is in top form this month with tracks from Pharmacy Music’s newest signings Elvy and Ikerya Project.
