Last month, Beatport asked me to make a chart to show my favourite releases over the last year, and I mentioned on last month’s show that it would be a good idea to let one of you make a mix of the chart for me to play this month. After taking a few months off to focus in the studio finishing my artist album, and with just a handful of festival shows in between, I’m now shifting gears back into DJ mode as I head back on the road—especially for club shows where I’ll be playing longer sets.
Having that time and headspace has also allowed me to reconnect with the deeper, darker, hypnotic Progressive side of my sound—something I’m really excited to explore more. This month’s mix is a little showcase of that direction.
In the second half of the show, we go full power with one of my favourite Psychedelic DJs, Hamish from the UK.
