As I’ve mentioned many times in the past, I’m going to keep the harder more driving side of me to recorded DJ’s sets, like my 3 hour BOOM set on Youtube that you love, as they make more sense in the journey and environment they were played, as opposed to home listening radio shows, and that was the consensus from you guys too. This way you also got many of my recorded sets from clubs and festivals. 

I’m super proud to have my dear friend and your hero Freedom Fighters on the guest mix, currently one of the most forward thinking musicians out there, I can’t wait to be playing alongside him at Dreamstate Festival.

John 00 Fleming is an electronic DJ and producer who has achieved international success in a career spanning over three decades, all without ever compromising his musical essence or the trust of his fans. Known for his deep knowledge of music, he is a proven pioneer and a leader recognised for his hypnotic style and unwavering integrity. Respected equally by peers and audiences worldwide, John has carved a unique path by staying true to his vision rather than chasing trends.

His legendary extended DJ sets — sometimes stretching eight hours or more — have become benchmarks of immersive storytelling on the dance floor. These marathon journeys have built a devoted cult following at clubs and festivals, establishing annual gatherings around the world where audiences return for the experience only he can deliver.

John’s career began at the age of 15, playing a role in the exploding UK rave scene, which led to multiple residencies in the country’s formative club circuit and eventually to performances on some of the world’s most respected stages, including BOOM Festival, EDC, Tomorrowland, Ozora Festival, Creamfields, Own Spirit Festival, and countless underground institutions across the globe. With multiple Gold disc mix compilation accolades and millions of streams to his name, he has also delivered acclaimed Essential Mixes for BBC Radio 1 and earned the rare distinction of bridging the commercial and underground worlds without compromise.

As a producer, John’s esteem within the industry has drawn respect from electronic luminaries such as Jean-Michel Jarre and Muse. While he accepts peer endorsements humbly, he continues to let his production skills speak for themselves. With five electronic artist albums and an extensive discography of singles, John also finds time to compose for major film and television networks, including projects with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the famed Abbey Road Studios in London.
As head of JOOF Recordings, he has built the label into a trusted home for forward-thinking artists, nurturing a global community united by quality-driven electronic music.

Originally from Greater Manchester but now living in Litherland, Liverpool. A lover of progressive house, breaks, techno, psytrance and many other genres of electronic music.
