Big Buddha – the name of a freshly formed rock band from southwestern Germany with Saarbrücken as home base. For almost a year now they have practiced as often as possible, and now they finally want to get on stage!

Big Buddha – is Phillippe Banek (25) on vocals, John Folkerts (27) on guitar, David Görg (23) on drums and Marco Warth (26) on bass, four guys who have loved to make music since they can remember and are now lucky enough to share their common passion in this constellation. All four of them have plenty of experience playing in other bands, so it was clear from the very beginning that this formation would make quick progress.

Big Buddha – is music that is hard to place in a certain genre. The result of the self-written songs can be generalized as guitar-laden rock/alternative, but the band attaches great importance to giving free rein to their music. It’s up to each listener to decide into which genre the Big Buddha sound fits best, but groovy beats, blazing riffs and catchy melodies are guaranteed.
