Gone Fishin- Caught Nothin'

Two of the most common old-timey tracks we've come across on Soundcloud, slowed down and turned up.
Angeline is usually credited to Stephen Foster, though it seems the most common variations these days are divorced from his composition and instead likely stem from a parody version. Uncle Eck Dunford's version from the legendary 1928 Bristol sessions has been credited as the source for the modern spread of the tune, but it's far from identical to the melody presented here.
Favorite version among the (literally) hundreds posted to Soundcloud is from the great Dai Bowen & the White House Band with a similar though subtler approach to the one we take here - our apologies, Dai! - https://soundcloud.com/banjodai/angeline-the-baker

Shove That Pig's Foot etc. etc. is one I'd never heard before joining Soundcloud but have heard several versions of here (and, lately, elsewhere). No idea where the origins lie. The B part seems to have absconded with our good taste, so if anyone sees either please drop us an inbox.

Jeff employs his Wall of Folk technique; I'm pretty sure we topped 40 tracks in this one, and hopefully the mix marries textural contrast and depth with an overall sonic consistency. In other words, we hope it doesn't get boring or repetitive.
