A retired Finnish wrestler sits alone in the sauna changing room, remembering the roar of the crowd and the heat of the ring. Löyly Drop blends polka and EDM in a track that hits like steam on stones — nostalgic, rhythmic, and raw. Tonverk delivers a walk-in theme for a man who’s already walked out.

Löyly = the burst of heat when water hits sauna rocks. Drop = the explosive moment in EDM when tension breaks.

The first two hanter dros in this set came from Monjarret’s Toniou Breiz-Izel, a gigantic book of old Breton music. After a magical experience in the beautiful old Sudbury, MA meetinghouse when our audience got up to dance a hanter dro, Rachel came home with “Meetinghouse Hanter Dro” in her head.

It's been sooooo long since I last uploaded anything on here! My music still kinda sucks (unsurprisingly) but I got bored and decided to make something today. I know barely anybody on here is gonna find this, but whatever. ADDITIONAL NOTE: I made this because I wanted to make something that sounded kind of "nostalgic". Sounds corny, but I liked making it. Enjoy.

"Tutti Frutti-tuttar" är en lekfull och uppsluppen dansbandslåt som med sin fängsande melodi och humoristiskt lättsamma text skapar en stämning av ren dansglädje. Med ett klassisk dansbandsound, komplett med saxofon, dragspel och ett drivande groove, tar låten upp temat fest och gemenskap på ett avslappnat och roligt sätt. Texten, som är fylld med lekfulla ordvitsar och lättsamma referenser, levereras med en perfekt balans av entusiasm och humor, vilket gör att den känns både nostalgisk och fräsch. Produktionen är ren och balanserad, med en mix som lyfter fram sången och de instrumentala inslagen på ett professionellt sätt. Saxofonsolot och de skämtsamma crowd-inläggen ger låten en extra dimension av underhållning och får lyssnaren att le medan fötterna omedvetet börjar röra sig. "Midnattståget Till Dig" är en charmig kärlekslåt som kombinerar romantisk längtan med äventyrets spänning genom metaforen av en tågresa till den älskade. Med sina autentiska tåg-ljudeffekter och swingende rytmer skapar låten en nostalgisk atmosfär som påminner om klassiska amerikanska country- och jazztraditioner. Produktionen är polerad med balanserade nivåer och en ren mix där brass-sektionen, saxophone och accordion tillsammans bygger upp en rich sonic landscape som kompletterar det tåg-inspirerade temat perfekt. Den starka sångprestationen levererar berättelsen med perfekt uttal och övertygande storytelling, där resan både blir bokstavlig och metaforisk för kärlekens väg hem. De instrumentala arrangemangen, särskilt trumpet fanfare och saxophone-melodierna, tillför en jazzig elegans som lyfter låten från enkel country till en mer sofistikerad musikalisk upplevelse. Textmässigt är låten poetisk och bildrik, med sina beskrivningar av mörka skogar, öppna fält och blinkande lampor som skapar en levande känsla av rörelse och framsteg mot målet. Backing vocals med "choo-choo" och train bell-effekterna förstärker den lekfulla men romantiska känslan utan att bli för barnslig. Becky Tracy (fiddle) and Rachel Bell (accordion) formed Eloise & Co. in 2015 to explore their love of multiple genres, from gritty French tunes to soaring Celtic and Quebecois melodies. They are renowned in the national contra dance sphere and are respected in the increasingly popular bal-folk scene for which they host their own dance series outside of Brattleboro. 
Becky and Rachel often play as a duo or with a cast of amazing guitar players, but in 2017, they found themselves in a spontaneous jam session with Quebecois pianist extraordinaire Rachel Aucoin at a summer music camp. The musical chemistry was instant and palpable, and the three decided right then and there that they had to play together again. Re-uniting in 2024 after a five year hiatus prompted by the pandemic, the three eagerly launched into the creation of an album, “avec Elodie” which is due for release the weekend of this concert. People who are hearing the music for the first time are responding with enthusiasm: “My goodness what a beautiful album” from their mastering engineer, Dana Billings. Carol Compton, from the Brattleboro Music Center says: "Weeks later, people were still talking about this trio's concert! The programming was fabulous, the music extraordinary, and their connection with the audience warm and engaging. Can't wait for their next visit!"

Part swing chanteuse, larrikin cowgirl and passionate witness, Aussie singer songwriter Tracey Bunn has spent over 20 years honing her craft, touring relentlessly in venues and festivals across Australia, Ireland, Europe and the UK, both solo and with her original band the Toe Sucking Cowgirls. Her exuberant live shows have garnered praise around the world and her songwriting has drawn a swag of awards.  Her debut album 'By The Wayside', produced by Anne McCue and recorded in Nashville with some of its’ finest musicians (including Aussie legends Bones Hillman and Mark Moffat) is a luscious blend of country, folk and pop rock, sometimes reminiscent of kd lang and Patsy Cline.
