EXO encompasses a singular motif: Imagination of things that exist beyond earth; which we conjure up in our minds. The paradox of imagining the unimaginable.

"The dominant sound characteristics are a fusion of sci-fi and space fx sampling & resampling, techy perc grooves, deep hitting low end and gritty mid-bass phrases, I really wanted to explore how more energetic grooves can be blended together with ominous unsettling atmospheres and sonic space.

These tracks collectively represent an ongoing thought-experiment form of inspiration; of creating audible manifestations of our biggest fears said to exist specifically beyond our planet. Within Exo contains the overarching concept of a sort of looming void beyond us carrying with it unpredictable forces. You'll hear my auditory manifestations referencing some well known stories and depictions of extra-terrestrials very forwardly 'visiting' Earth, such as war of the worlds. Such themes played a significant role in the sound design direction, hence the name EXO, meaning external; From the outside.

Hope you all enjoy this turbulent and spacious journey through the beyond!"

The Funhouse is an interesting experiment to create the atmosphere of horror movies with the classic elements of dubstep.
