The latest edition of our free download series welcomes Golan Zocher back for his second appearance. The Colombian born, Israel based artist makes electronic music that breaks boundaries, moves feet and twists minds. Since first emerging in 2016 Golan has won over progressive music tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, while landing standout releases via Beatfreak, Clubsonica Records, Or Two Strangers and Proton Music. A well received rendition of ‘Roads’ by Portishead marked Golan’s debut on our free download series in 2018, and now as 2021 winds to a close, he returns with an equally sought after, indie-dance revision of Sinead O’Connor’s hit ‘All Apologies’. The Hungarian-born Jozef Kugler’s interest for music dates back to his early childhood. Classical guitar, drums and violin were the instruments, which made him acquainted to music and this developed to a bond of friendship.

He was influenced by the music of Depeche Mode, Yazoo, Alphaville, Prince, Kurtis Blow, Grandmaster Flash and other great performers. After he had taken short trips to learn about DnB and House, finally he found his own style marked with the elements of Nu-Disco, Deep-House and Progressive-House Music. Vocation, hard work, open-mindedness are key factors of Jozef’s music career and development. The well-known Hungarian producer, Coldfish encouraged his artistic unfolding.

In 2003 he was a resident of one of the best clubs of that time and in 2013 he was a resident of one of the best hotels in his city together with his good friend and renowned DJ of the fine electronic scene Giovanny Aparicio, native called Hotel Now.

He currently has a track on Soundteller Records in collaboration with one of the best progressive house music producers in his country, Kamilo Sanclemente.
Arbey Gonzalez is surely one of those underground artists that you haven't heard yet and he will pleasantly surprise you with his musical proposal.

This is a challenging time for everyone but I want to try to focus on the positives. Regardless of race, gender or age we are all being impacted by this Pandemic. Perhaps it can be a time where we break down some barriers and work together on a higher level to overcome this hardship. 

I think it is our job as musicians to keep making music and attempt to provide hope and positivity. One song can completely change a person’s outlook on life and we need that more than ever now. 

I will be doing lots of streaming over the next few weeks, both of studio sessions and of djing but today I will be giving away two of the remixes I did over this past year as free downloads.

Born in Barcelona into a family full of artists originally from Granada (Spain), got influences since his childhood by his father's records from Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, The Who... seeing the love he demonstrated so early for synths sounds such as Mike Oldfield or Jean Micheal Jarré, his parents decided to enroll him in piano classes and bought his first Yamaha synth.

In his adolescence, and after joining few amateur music groups and local radio shows, he discovered at 90's Barcelona's nightlife and underground club culture, getting hooked by the art of DJing and the forward thinking styles from Francesco Farfa, Laurent Garnier, Danny Tenaglia, Sasha or John Digweed among others. This revealed his great passion to provide people's joy by making them dance, while at the same time promoting underground electronic music jewels.

Combining with his studies on Computer Engineering, started his DJ carrer late 90's playing at raves, events, and some of the Barcelona's best reknown clubs such as Pachá, Illusion or KGB. His style sails between house, progressive, trance and techno, with imprints from back of his roots like indie, funky, symphonic rock or punk. Someone can define his sets as fully carged of emotions, joy spirit, melancholy, delicacy, musicallity, sound density... where any of his sets is structured to tell an uplifting tale with epic moments, and edifying musicality. In other words, "Music for your mind, body, and your soul".

In 2021 he starts his producer career with "Aquarius", a rework of the outstanding house classic, besides Madrid's trending duo 2Qimic, released by Music Chemistry Records.
