I'm a cellist and composer born in born in Venice, Italy. I got my degree at the Conservatorio "Agostino Steffani" in Castelfranco Veneto. I play in chamber and orchestra formations, also I compose, play and record my own music. Since the nineties I played in several rock bands as a cellist as well as a guitar player, producer and sound engineer. Some of them (INNER GLORY; HAVING THIN MOONSHINE) have published records with international distribution(MASTERPIECE/TESCO), performed in international festival like WAVE GOTHIC TREFFEN (Lipzig), SHADOW DAZE (Manchester), HAU RUCK! FESTIVAL (Vienna), appeared with revews and interviews on magazines, web sites and radio show. 

The last rays warm the meadows once more before evening falls. The day fades, yet no ending is felt—only a calm fulfillment. A brook flows clear and steady; the air is still, almost transparent. The path through the meadows holds traces of the past, yet all feels possible. The vibrant new titles "Treizeta", "The Third Era" & "Vollenweider" off the freshly released 3rd Studio Album "Yes It's Ananias III: The Commencement of The Third Era" in 2022 have glimpsed couple of sparks of the upcoming new age and sound of YIA... In December 2021, Yes It's Ananias has released a surprise Solo Rhodes Single which is part of the third Saga. "Hot Snowflake Pt. I (Ice-O-Lation)" tells a story of an Utopia in our modern world. Although, the peculiar year of a post-millenium pandemic lead to a one-off performance in september 2020 when the 70's look inspired Swiss Pianist/Improvisationist went on stage for 6:29 min time. He conserved the moment and released his only digital output within 5 years since his well-approven second studio record "Yes It's Ananias II".

It's called "To Venus And Back" and was played on a Electric Piano in the oldest cinema in the country. Nicolas Streichenberg (His real Citizen Name) reveals the inside and puts it to the outer sphere. He toured heavely in the past couple years in search of finding his own signiture in the soundscape and playing by recording live-concerts on tour and release the limited Vinyl-Copies to the audience, re-listening to it and excerp the imprompti from all sections.

In 2018/2019/2021 he was playing/visiting in Sweden, Italy, Spain, France, Denmark, Switzerland and Germany the most honest way: Solo Piano. While gathering an increasing fanbase around Switzerland and Eastern France, he held up the first official PIANO DAY in Zurich. Swiss Radio/Television SRF Kultur portrayed him and his work during their Winter-Campaign #SRFZämeStah. A platform of selected Artists/Actors/Musicians in Switzerland. In the end of 2021 YIA got featured on the swedish shoebrand "Everyday Hero" in their artist/music section "Listen Up". A space for rocknroll spirits and fashionistas who are empowered by the musical taste of the shoedesigner. The filmwork for "Vollenweider" got premiered on their webpage of selective artists worldwide. It took only 6 days until one of most prestigeous Venues in Switzerland "Atlantis", who has been a base for the 60's/70's Rockscene in Basel and today's renowned Jazz/Contemporary Music Temple, was sold out. There are rumours for a new fourth era in 2023

Nach einem halben Jahr Livepause betreten John Caroline in neuer Formation mit frischen Songs die Bühne. Während sieben Monaten haben die sechs Badener an ihrem Tropical Bubblegum Indie getüftelt: obskure Buschtrommeln erforscht, im Labor nordische Leads synthetisiert, auf tagelangen Reisen durch den Osten den einzigartigen Shaker gesucht und schliesslich zauberhafte Wurmhaarsaiten fürs Violoncello gefunden.

Mit all diesen Curiositäten im Gepäck überrennen sie nun – von einem mysteriösen Bühnenfieber getrieben - die Kolonialwarenläden der schweizer Clublandschaft.
