I just heard the very sad news about Mika Vainio's passing.  His music  had a strong emotional resonance for me. Visceral and abstract, yet deeply meditative. I remember sitting enthralled at his live performance at FEED in Berlin a few years ago. A true master in defining sonic language. 

I made this mix with one of his tracks (under his Ø moniker) a few years ago 
 (2014) and never uploaded it, but his sound inspired the selection, so now seems as good a time as any.
