After a short hiatus, we're stoked to return with the first Stan Radio mix of 2021, and a nice little Balearic special from the south of France.  

@marwanfilali is a Marseille based architect & DJ, also behind the record label and website RA/OI (www.rareandorinteresting.com). 

RA/OI nicely balances a blog and record store specialising in, you guessed it, rare and / or interesting records - along with commentary on various discoveries by Marwan and like-minded record collectors. 

He also recently launched a record label under the same name, with a killer first release of irresistible Franco-Afro boogie by French Senegalese artist Joe Sembene (available in stores now).

Sticky Tapes is a seasonal mixtape series. Four times a year we ask our favourite selectors to compile a mixtape in the ambiance of the seasons.

The forecasts are looking well, troubling times are of the past - the summer of love is on our doorsteps.
To celebrate we've invited the Montevideo born and Barcelona based selector Maximiliano Arrieri, also Known as Fatal, to translate his past seasonal experience into a musical journey.
With a broad selection of electronic music Maximiliano created a mix that floats between dark experimental rhythms and warm, breezy, balearic sounds.
The records where mostly digged up during his latest trip to Uruguay. But also found a lot of great records the past few months in Barcelona thanks to the strong record collecting community, with records recommended by befriended DJ's and dealers as Breixo Martinez, Discos Paradiso & Mauro Correa.

Bristol good friend, selector and DJ Kayne The Hermit has been killing it over the past few years. While hosting the Hermit show - which featured the very best of European selectors, and travelling around with his record bag, he emerged as one of our favorite digger of the current scene.

A couple of months ago, we asked him to takes part in our Guest Mixes series. As he does, he went into hiding and came back with an hour and a half mix infused with Leftfield and Synth-Pop amongst Dub, Bhangra, Downtempo and much more.

Hope you will enjoy this one, as we did, to close out 2019 and welcome another year (and hopefully decade) of wonderful music.
