Maryland-born, Southern California–based songwriter John Koah makes lyric-driven, guitar-centered music that grew up in bars, lounges, and small spaces with no distance between player and crowd. His new 34-song album, A–Z, Songs From The Tape Deck, was recorded solo and arranged like old four-track cassette demos, with covers and originals side by side in his own keys, voicings, and feel.  The release date is January 1, 2026.
