Started in 2005 as a solo project by Joe Dobise, Viral Consciousness is a sonically intense group straddling a wide variety of musical genres. Loosley defined as "Electronic/Machine Rock" Viral Consciousness (Vircon) touches on such sounds as ebm,industrial,breakcore,glitch and metal. With the addition of Rob Galgano (Neo Cyber Christ), Andrew Manalo(Solid State Syndicate) and Christopher Austin Sanzano the once solo project found itself stepping foward to an energetic, profound 100% live act. Diverse yet defined since its inception Viral Consciousness take it to the next level with there searing vocals, chaotic hybrid drums, intricate keyboard programming and relentless trashing guitars

BIO: Well known for his roles in Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof and Inglourious Basterds, Omar Doom's roots as a musician run deep, having fronted critically acclaimed Doomington with DJ's Stretch Armstrong and Eli Escobar. Doom's current project STRAIGHT RAZOR cuts through the speakers with a hypnotizing clock-work melody, melancholic chord progression and gliding synths. Led by erotic female whispers, "Whiskey & Ativan" hypnotizes and entices the body to join the primal ritual while the subconscious explores the cinematic suspense of a sexy tech-noir thriller synced to a dark techno pulse.  For the ever popular Bromance Records compilation HOMIELAND Vol. 2, he goes club with STRAIGHT RAZOR track "The Adversary" while keeping his oath to the darkness. Additionally Doom has supplied vocals for tracks like "VOICES", a fearsome industrial-tinged techno track from Boston-born producer M|O|O|N.

While Omar Doom is well known for his acting work with Quentin Tarantino, appearing in Death Proof and memorably killing Hitler in Inglourious Basterds, Doom has committed most of his creative life to making music. Doom’s latest endeavor STRAIGHT RAZOR, a mix of Dark Wave, Techno and Ebm, cuts through the speakers with menacing beats and a hypnotizing clockwork melody. After a string of singles and remixes, Doom released STRAIGHT RAZOR’s Vol.1 EP in 2021, following it up with Vol.2 in 2022.
2023 saw the debut of Omar Doom’s record label  DOOM VISION with the STRAIGHT RAZOR – REMIXED EP featuring remixes by Gost, Corvad, Moris Blak, Nightcrawler, Destryur and ESA.
On March 29th the new album from DESTRYUR  “Dimensions” is released on Doom Vision featuring videos for tracks UNDER YOUR SKIN, PIT OF DOOM (STRAIGHT RAZOR REMIX),  LUCIFEMME and TERRIFY.
