John Monkman and Pete Tong unite once more on "AURORA", this time for John's new label Beesemyer Music. "AURORA" is unveiled above from the London producer and UK seminal DJ Pete Tong. During its seven-minute length, "AURORA" takes us through an enchanted journey, steered along with a thundering synth lead, vocal snippets, and momentary hi-hat attacks.
Pete and John have teamed up twice in the past, including for prestigious German label Kompakt. Both tracks did extremely well and their first collaboration "The Bumps" received remixes from the likes of Moby and Julian Jeweil last year.
John Monkman introduced himself on the dance music radar in 2015, gaining the attentions of Jonas Rathsman, Skream and Kidnap Kid. While Pete Tong is one of the most well-known radio and club DJ on the planet, an integral host on Radio 1 since 1991, presenting the weekly Essential Mix series where the world's biggest DJs lay down a two-hour mix.

Next up this autumn on Nic Fanciulli's acclaimed Saved Records imprint we welcome back the combined forces of collaborative DJ and producer duo, Kaz James & Nick Morgan who return to the label with their brand new single, 'Dazed'. With releases between them on some of the industry's most respected labels including Objektivity, Circus, FFRR, Three Six Zero and Glasgow Underground, with recent releases being heavily supported by Radio 1's very own Friday Night Dance legends; Pete Tong, Annie Mac and Danny Howard. 'Dazed' is a beautifully emotive record that showcases Kaz & Nick's cleverly crafted production talents, combining Nick's dark melodic sounds with Kaz's signature electronic style. John Monkman stands at the forefront of the global electronic music scene. Known for his dynamic performances and cutting-edge studio productions, Monkman has earned a reputation as both a live music pioneer and a master of sound design.

Affiliated with some of the most prestigious labels in electronic music, including Kompakt, Ellum, Beesemyer Music, Siamese, and Anjunadeep, Monkman delivered the spellbinding track Siren for Kompakt and collaborated with Pete Tong on Ecstasis for Maceo Plex's Ellum Audio. His releases, such as the Komplex EP on Anjunadeep and the versatile Tune In Turn On EP for Ellum, highlight his remarkable range. With two Beatport number ones—his remix of Solomon Grey's Twilight and his single Don’t Have to Be Beautiful—Monkman has further cemented his influence on the global electronic music scene.

Equally compelling is Monkman’s remix portfolio. His remix of U Love for Sasha’s LNOE 100th release, supported by Patrice Bäumel and Sasha, showcases his creative versatility. His rework of Space Date by Adam Beyer and Green Velvet for Drumcode demonstrates the respect he commands within the industry. Monkman has also been remixed by Moby. In 2023, he reunited with Pete Tong for an official remix of Duran Duran's Give It Up, marking another standout moment in his career.

On the live stage, Monkman’s impact is undeniable. He has headlined festivals like the UK’s Noisily Festival, brought his live set to the Ozora Festival in Hungary, and performed at the Anjunadeep Festival in Albania. His recent achievements include headlining Rainbow Serpent 2021. The debut of John Monkman: Live at Coachella 2018 with The DoLab was a pivotal moment, revealing his innovative approach to live performance.

The year 2024 has been a defining chapter for Monkman. His latest live show, Pulse, premiered in Paris through a collaboration with Collectif Scale, breaking new ground with its kinetic light art installation. Filmed in a Paris warehouse on July 6th, this show delivers an immersive audiovisual experience that pushes creative boundaries. In the same year, Monkman released Khord on Anjunadeep, followed by three singles—Vader, Roller Vox, and MAYA—on Beesemyer Music.
