Electronique are a record label, promoter and agency that have been running since 2009 and expanding from its humble existence as a club night. With label parties at WMC, OFF Week, South America, Asia and beyond - and recently being featured by Pete Tong on BBC Radio One - John Monkman shall be headlining the first in a series of London label showcases, kicking off at East London's intimate Cafe 1001 and features support from label signing A.S.S.H, Brodanse, Shuush's Jim Rider and Danny Smallbone representing the Headspace crew.

Dayne S brings the goods once again for Dat 80's an acidic style lead line takes control as the track develops into a full on system shaker. Music has played an integral part in Tsubi's life ever since his early childhood. While all the other boys were climbing trees or digging up worms in the backyard, Tsubi found himself being drawn to his fathers record player. His father's vinyl collection served as his first musical building blocks, and having introduced himself to some of fundamental artists and genres, he quickly started to form a thirst for more. The passing years saw Tsubi expanding his horizons from simply enjoying all that the colourful musical palette has to offer, to collaborating with others to create ways for others to enjoy it too. He started getting into the electronic music scene in his early school years, and having already accumulated an impressive collection of his own, started organising parties with other like-minded music enthusiasts. By the time he reached his late teens, Tsubi and a fellow dj friend were throwing parties that gathered sizeable crowds of people out for a fresh, underground experience. His constant search for anything new and exciting eventually led him to his first psytrance party in 1999. He got his finger on the Hungarian psytrance pulse after just a year, and quickly became one of the scene's must-haves. In the years to follow, Tsubi was invited to play by pretty much all the underground party organisers in the country, and became a well-known favourite at the best psy events the local scene has to offer. Since joining Bubble's Human Touch booking agency in 2005, Tsubi has shown just how versatile and open he is musically, which has been one of his major success factors. His adaptability to any given event, the line up, and the overall vibe has allowed him to showcase his incredible knowledge of different genres and how to build on, and play with them. Tsubi's evolved taste in sound and many years of mastering the art of mixing took him further around the world to spread the dance grooves. He has since been invited to play at some major events like Boom, Ozora, S.U.N, Glade, Full-Moon, Hill-Top, Bakony and Sziget. With over a decade of experience, fused influences, and unlimited interest in all that is electronic, Tsubi has now taken the next step and started a party series with friends. The fresh collaboration, called Loading Zone, focuses on introducing party goers to artists and sounds that have yet to claim their territory in the Hungarian scene. With a deep understanding of what is needed to keep feet moving, people smiling, and the crowd screaming for more, Tsubi and the Loading Zone team have found a unique way to participate in taking the local music scene forward. Fellow Loading Zone aficionados can always expect something fresh and interesting from Tsubi's sets, ranging from full-psy, psy-prog, techodelic, all the way to downtempo. And at the end of the day when it's time to go out, isn't that what we're all after: something fresh, something new, something with a groove.

An early stand out of our 2014 releases, "The One EP" firmly established Lane 8 as one of the most exciting young artists around, picking up heavy support from Pete Tong, The Magician and Tensnake.

Following the heavy-hitting Klangkarussell Remix that featured on the EP, Matt Lange, Baio and Bhok come together on a diverse, genre spanning remix package.

Matt Lange takes "The One" on a techy journey, twisting the searing bass of the original into a subtle, hypnotic melody, surrounded by trademark Matt Lange atmospherics and the infectious vocal.

"Nothing You Can Say" gets the remix treatment from Baio, who as well as being a Grammy winning member of Vampire Weekend is also making a name for himself with his solo productions on Greco-Roman and Future Classic. A quirky blend of stuttering clicks and warm flowing bass, his mix once again brings the gorgeous vocal of Lucy Stone to the fore.

Rounding off the package is a remix from up and coming UK producer Bhok, who's early productions have garnered him the support of XLR8R. He brings his bass heavy style to "The One", creating a complex low end roller.

We are delighted to welcome our Londoner friend John Monkman for our first vinyl release. John Monkman delivers some serious quality deep house vibes for his debut release on Kote.. This Ep raises his game with three tracks taking in funky basslines, deep-house vibes and inventive, smooth flowing arrangements. 
John Monkman’s record kicks off with the anthemic “K.I.S.S. M.E. feat. Morgan Mackintosh”. An uncharacteristically uplifting track that combines a freestyle bassline with gated 80’s drum sounds and amazing vocals by Morgan Mackintosh… 
B1 Jessica is a very special track, the descending organ riff, almost an acid house motif gives it an anthemic quality. The “You and Me” vocal offers just as much hook as it needs to be. 
B2 is a late night sleaze for the well-tuned dancefloor or the perfect track to help the crowd find its footing during the opening hour. The entire seven minutes ooze with polished future-house bass and the tracks being championed by top tier talent worldwide. Disco lasers and vocal snippets douse the track with a modern sheen we’ve heard in works from seasoned house vets, but John Monkman concoct his own chart-topping take on his debut.

After coming back from Hamburg to his home city Turin, Edoardo Zerbinati totally reorganized his life, together with setting up a new studio in the town.

Back in that cloudy, rainy, romantic place where he was initiated to the Techno music culture, he saw the release of his debut album on Silent Season and, after that, the label has been selected as “label of the month” by Resident Advisor.

Some months later, the canadian label also put out an Edanticonf’s EP with a remix by the mysterious Sweden producer Abdulla Rashim. This collaboration on a limited vinyl was charted in the Top Techno Chart by some of the most important vinyl shops through the world.

All the textures in this set are written and produced by Edoardo Zerbinati with using mainly analog equipment (additional production by Iori and Decoside, remixed by Edanticonf). A lot of pieces of music are unreleased or played in a live version and due to this reason it’s not possible to attach a complete track list. The man and the perception of the infinite are the main themes of his compositions; Techno music lends itself to this goal with the integration of sounds inspired by natural landscapes.

Another fantastic EP on Enormous Deep from swiss based NORA EN PURE who returns to her home base and delivers 3 stunning indie dance tracks. 
We're opening up the EP with the title track COME WITH ME. A classy and touching piano chord construction builds the basic, slowly filtering up and down during the whole arrangement. Some jazzy vocal phrases and adlibs support the melodic parts. 
LONELINESS takes the more classic indie dance direction, heading on to lift off with a hammering 80s beat pattern, sweeping atmospheres, deep house synth stabs and a funky bass line underneath. This hazy, light dappled nu disco track will become, for sure, a secret night weapon in any whether indie dance but also deep house DJ sets.
The last slot on the EP is home to the track called NORMA JEAN. A buttery blend of percussion, Melody and warm chords, creating a relaxed mood to swing your hips. The track extends just close the 6 minute mark, giving you time to get into the mood and lose yourself on the dancefloor, just exactly as you should.

This month marks the passing of the lauded rapper Notorious B.I.G. and to honor his legacy, New York resident DJ Finesse debuted a special tribute during DJ Premier's Sirius/XM show "Live From Headqcourterz" on March 8.

John Monkman stands at the forefront of the global electronic music scene. Known for his dynamic performances and cutting-edge studio productions, Monkman has earned a reputation as both a live music pioneer and a master of sound design.

Affiliated with some of the most prestigious labels in electronic music, including Kompakt, Ellum, Beesemyer Music, Siamese, and Anjunadeep, Monkman delivered the spellbinding track Siren for Kompakt and collaborated with Pete Tong on Ecstasis for Maceo Plex's Ellum Audio. His releases, such as the Komplex EP on Anjunadeep and the versatile Tune In Turn On EP for Ellum, highlight his remarkable range. With two Beatport number ones—his remix of Solomon Grey's Twilight and his single Don’t Have to Be Beautiful—Monkman has further cemented his influence on the global electronic music scene.

Equally compelling is Monkman’s remix portfolio. His remix of U Love for Sasha’s LNOE 100th release, supported by Patrice Bäumel and Sasha, showcases his creative versatility. His rework of Space Date by Adam Beyer and Green Velvet for Drumcode demonstrates the respect he commands within the industry. Monkman has also been remixed by Moby. In 2023, he reunited with Pete Tong for an official remix of Duran Duran's Give It Up, marking another standout moment in his career.

On the live stage, Monkman’s impact is undeniable. He has headlined festivals like the UK’s Noisily Festival, brought his live set to the Ozora Festival in Hungary, and performed at the Anjunadeep Festival in Albania. His recent achievements include headlining Rainbow Serpent 2021. The debut of John Monkman: Live at Coachella 2018 with The DoLab was a pivotal moment, revealing his innovative approach to live performance.

The year 2024 has been a defining chapter for Monkman. His latest live show, Pulse, premiered in Paris through a collaboration with Collectif Scale, breaking new ground with its kinetic light art installation. Filmed in a Paris warehouse on July 6th, this show delivers an immersive audiovisual experience that pushes creative boundaries. In the same year, Monkman released Khord on Anjunadeep, followed by three singles—Vader, Roller Vox, and MAYA—on Beesemyer Music.
