Six years into their life as a duo and Kaiserdisco could not be feeling any better. After impressive releases on the likes of Drumcode, Suara and Snatch OFF in recent weeks, Hamburg’s finest now return to their own KD Music imprint for their next release, the highly anticipated Oceania EP. Injecting bucket-loads of individuality and flair into this four track EP, Frederic & Patrick offer yet another reminder of the talents that have propelled them to their lofty reputation today. 

“Apia” works a funkified and addictive groove into a track that bristles with an old school mentality. The wobbling bassline provides the backbone of the track, providing both energy and swing as tightly woven beats and futuristic synths wash over the top to create a dynamic soundscape. The rolling bassline immediately conjures up images of sweaty 90s warehouses, making this a perfect trip for late night dancefloors around the world. 

“Alofi” switches up the tempo, tapping into a jackin house vibe with firing 4/4s, snapping percussion and shuffling rhythms. A simplistic but devastating bass hook keeps the listener locked into the groove, which builds with subtlety throughout the tracks blistering entire eight minutes. The Dub mix strips it all back, putting that all-important bassline in the driving seat for its entirety. 

“Suva” is a wonderfully eccentric slice of techno, whipping a myriad of sounds into a frenzy of a tune. Loopy FX, cylindrical rhythms, rapid-fire drum patterns, punchy beats and sketchy electronics collide to create a song that is as fascinating as it is inimitable.

The native of Salzburg has more than successfully established herself musically in Europe’s Minimal Techno scene over the past two years. Rolling, dark basslines combined with playful, psychedelic elements give her sound a unique character. As the head of Tiefdruck Salzburg, Tanja le Chains is active in the scene not only as an artist but also as an event organizer. The Tiefdruck crew regularly tears it up with a great selection of guest DJs at their home base, the RockhouseBar in Salzburg. Tanja le Chains’ references include playtimes at the Fusion Festival in Lärz, the Cross Club in Prague, Mensch Meier & Der Weiße Hase in Berlin, Climax Institutes in Stuttgart, the Echelon Open Air Festival in Bad Aibling, and Harry Klein in Munich.

The unique sound of kLines has its origins in his early lessons and sessions on a drum kit age 11. He has carried many elements of this into his music, especially in his producing when he moved to a London university to study graphic design. As well as DJing on his university radio station and at freshers and other events, he has worked his way up to producing and DJing techno. Taking influences from all genres of music including heavy rock and alternative, his music taste has morphed and is now focused on the darker side of techno. 
Early EP's on Somatic Records (Adjust & Diffuse) set the standard of production with darks synths and pounding basslines ready to be played on any dancefloor. These EP's did not go unnoticed with established names in the industry supporting them. Next up was his "Thirty-Eight" EP on Black Square Recordings which went to #10 in the Beatport Hard Techno Top 10 Releases. Then Dani Sbert then contacted asking for an EP, to which he signed 6 on two of his labels (Sbert Records & U.F.O Recordings). His Reload Black EP got to #57 in the Beatport Top 100 Techno Releases and will be followed by a Reload Records EP later in August. Recently he has furthered his release list with tracks on two VAs for Funk'n Deep Records with a full EP coming later in the year.
As well as EPs & VAs he has proven to add his own flair to tracks with remixes for Bubblejam, Delta Sound & Somatic Records. Theres plenty more to come from him and gathering more support and releases only charges up his creativity.
Gaining support from some of the biggest names in the industry, keep an eye out for his name as kLines is one of the most exciting young producers coming out of London.

Born in 1987 Since he was a child Johnny has always been a keen lover of electronic music. At the young age of 7 he began collecting Techno records, while at the same time researching information on the history of the genre.


In 1996 at only 9 years old he started experimenting with turntables and learnt the art of DJ'ing thanks to the teaching of his elder brother. Despite only being a child, Johnny snuck into a nightclub to attend one of his brother's performances and instantly knew that DJ'ing is what he wanted to do.


When he was still only 11 years old in 1998 he began to develop an interest in production. Without anybody's help to show him the basics, Johnny started to dabble with simple programs creating various musical genres Techno, Trance, HardCore, Drum N Bass.


Johnny made his first public performance at the age of 16 in 2003 playing in famous clubs in Italy and in 2006 he launched his own project called "Minimal Stars Project". Hosting events in his hometown of Verona, he played alongside his favourite local acts such as Egomorph, Stephan Barnem 

In 2008 he began to publish his productions under the alias "Johnny Dj" and has since collaborated with internationally renowned producers such as: Philip Wolgast, M.N.L, Harada, BCR Boys, Lars Wickinger, Sebastian Russell and many more.

In 2010 He began to produce Dark Minimal Techno. 
His productions have been on the top charts for several times, either on Beatport ,Juno Download and the other music download platforms.He has released on some of the lead labels around such as: Divided, Frucht, Multi Vitamins, Monocline, Redukt, Creepy Finger, Login, Der Hut, Simplex, Krad, Attary, Shinocs, Nulabel, Lethal Dose, Rectangular, Malatoid, Inminimax, Trebol, Tanzbar, Pure Pure, Kismet, Tonic D and many more...
Johnny has been around Europe playing his sets in Berlin, Athens, Paris, Prague, Barcelona, Helsinki, Strasbourg and many more places. 
Renowned dj’s such as Richie Hawtin, Troy Pierce, Alan Fitzpatrick, Stephan Bodzin, Oliver Huntemann and an ongoing list have supported and played Johnny Aemkel’s tracks in front of the biggest crowds.
