The conceptual brainchild of Turkish-born, Barcelona-based DJ and producer, ELIF @elifmusique, Marginalia is a new home for largely undiscovered electronic artists to express their unbridled creativity within a framework of absolute sonic freedom. Established as a platform to support, nurture and develop the incredible output of the producers whose music forms the backbone of ELIF's DJ sets worldwide, Marginalia represents a forward-thinking community that looks to discover and bolster the profiles of the hardest working – often least rewarded – individuals in the music industry; individuals without whom the scene’s ecosystem would collapse entirely.

A safe haven for the organic development and progress of artistic creativity
and intellectual collaboration, the concept of Marginalia itself dates back to the 11th Century and references the wildly inventive notes, markings, doodles and sketches made in the margins of medieval books and scriptures — a place where the human imagination was free to run wild.

“Whether we are aware of it or not, one of the fundamental ways we all digest what we read, hear, see and experience is to absorb the thoughts, musings and broken fragments of others”, says ELIF. “It’s these very fragments that help us connect ideas and spur critical thinking, and it perfectly represents the type of creative dialogue I’m looking to achieve with Marginalia”.

Stimulating uninhibited creativity and avant-garde thinking by creating a land of self-expression, artistic freedom and collaboration, ELIF now looks to translate this age-old tradition into a twenty-first century paradigm and give back to the incredible pool of artists to whom she owes so much.

Born and raised in Los Angeles,CA Johnny OM from an early age knew that music was his life as he walked into his first record shop at the age of 9 to make his first album purchase. Discovering Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Buddy Guy, B.B. King & Dizzy Gillespie, Johnny OM was hooked from that day on. In his 20's, he began frequenting clubs like Avalon in Hollywood where he first  saw John Digweed play. He was Johnny OM's inspiration for his music selection and eventual career in the DJ industry.

His first DJ debut was at Exchange LA, followed by Avalon Hollywood & Le Jardin la He currently plays at Various Nightclubs and bars around LA & recently made his Las Vegas debut. He has played alongside many notable artists, producers/dj’s such as DAVI, Kerala Dust, Isaiah Martin, Matan Caspi, Stan Kolev, Taches, Pattern Drama, MIRA, Holmar, Izhevski, Lost Desert & more...

Based in Berlin but originally from Italy, Soul Button has undoubtedly made a distinctive mark on the Melodic Techno scene, starting his personal project in 2012 along with the launch of his label and brand, Steyoyoke Recordings. As the inventor and trademark owner of the Ethereal Techno subgenre, his artist name, Soul Button, reflects a strong conceptual identity.

Soul Button transformed his label into a real brand, first establishing the two sub-labels Steyoyoke Black and Inner Symphony, and later developing his own clothing brand, SYYK Berlin, as well as his own publishing company, SYYK Publishing. Well known in the electronic music scene as one of the most skilled DJs and producers, for his mental and soulful sets and tracks, Soul Button has affirmed his international exposure.

His career took off with many successful singles like "Swift Minds" and "Wraith", the latter featuring acclaimed American vocalist Terry Grant. Tracks like "Reverie" and "Metamorphosis" were a great anticipation of his first album, released in December 2019, "Phantom Existence", a 13-original track album that marked a significant moment in his career, followed by a remix edition in April 2020.

Recent years have seen continued success with the release of the "Pantheon" EP alongside Monarke, and singles such as "God Save The Rave", "Crescendo", "Merine", "Infinitude", and "Dalliance", capturing the attention of techno enthusiasts worldwide. His latest work includes "Walking Straight Up", a single that highlights his ascent in 2023, together with the collection, "Dual Realms of Sound", which was a testament to Soul Button's evolving sound and his ability to capture the duality of rhythm and melody, further solidifying his place in the techno realm. 2024 sees his second official album "Master Minds", which will be launched in April 2024, with preceding singles "Lumina" and "Tartribe".

Having cemented himself firmly in the scene, Soul Button maintains focus on the continuous growth and development of his labels as well as his own personal career. The upcoming years will surely be busy with new tours and projects on the horizon.
