Writing is a passion that I’ve realized, like Yoga, can never be perfected.  We can only continue to get better with practice and hard work.  I enjoy writing songs from all genres. Lyrics Abound is more of a project than a band.  I'm often asked who's in your band.  Here is my normal answer: "Who is in my band"  Lyrics Abound is more of a project than a band.  There is one constant member, Rudy Harrell (me).  I write the lyrics, music, create the melodies.  However, I can't sing.  So once I've created an idea of how I want a song to "feel"  I then try to find the right voice to sing it.  That is the hardest part.  Finding the right voice to pull everything together.
