Just a quick note to thank you all for taking the time to listen to my song for Maire, and for all your support and encouragement in all the songs and spoken words produced so far. Johnny did a great job on the production of this and considering there are very few effects on the song, (well, apart from the outro that is!), the song tried to retain its emotion and sadness throughout. As you would appreciate, it was a difficult song to write and perform in many ways, but I hope it got its message across to people who are going through similar experiences. I’m in rehearsals now for the next lot of songs and spoken words which, with Johnny’s help, will come out sometime later in the year. In the meantime, love and peace to you all. MOUSE

The Path was written by my good friend Stephen who lost his wife and best friend Máire 4 years ago.
It is a beautiful and very personal song that portrays the path that Stephen takes every week as he
makes his journey to visit Máire.
I am truly honoured that Stephen asked me to help him record and produce this beautiful song in
Máire’s memory.

Hi, My name is Johnny Mc Farlane, I am an Indie songwriter from Ireland. I write, play, produce and distribute my own music. I try to write songs that will mean something to whoever may be listening.
