Curated by Om Unit for his Cosmic Bridge imprint the compilation features tracks from the first wave of Cosmic Bridge artists and includes 3 collaborations with label head Om Unit.

In 2 short years Cosmic Bridge has released material from Om Unit, Kromestar and Boxcutter and has given us Moresounds, EAN and Danny Scrilla; who after making their debuts for the label have gone on to make waves.

Unifying the Cosmic Bridge sound the compilation features grime and dubstep kingpin Kromestar's blend of deep dubstep romance and road-raw sci-fi boogie, Moresound's digi-dub and soundsystem modulations, former Various Production lynchpin EAN's rapidfire darkstyles and deft footwork jungle chops, Boxcutter's lush fusions of Footwork and Electronica, Danny Scrilla's forays into the unnamed airspace between dreadnought dub, halftime footwork & O.G '06 Dubstep and two appearances from Keysound's experimentalist 140bpm updater Epoch.

Highlights include a VIP version on Danny's Scrilla legendary 'X', Danny's collab with Om Unit on 'Gentrification' featuring the unwitting Giles from Foxton's Estate agency in Brixton plus Om Unit's jungle referencing collab with Moresounds, the long waited release of Kromestar's highly sought dub 'V7STX' and Epoch's revisiting of Om Unit & Danny Scrilla's 'Hunch'.

Om Unit's A&R sensibilities and his focus in pushing boundaries show in Cosmology's curation. Representative the label's catalogue, the diversity of styles on show across these nine tracks is unified by the talent of the producers involved.

 Our next compilation tune comes from super talented Santa Cruz-based producer G Jones.
known for his unconventional and unique take on experimental future bass/hip hop beats as well as his energetic and vibrant live sets,  G Jones has made quite the name for himself. Since his 2012 LP "Mirage" on the like-minded forward-thinking label Saturate, G Jones has been nonstop touring, releasing EPs, collaborations and remixes all while single-handedly redefining the west coast bass sound. His tune "Terminal 3" is a more melodic and dreamy take on his style. It maintains the G Jones swagger while seamlessly fitting the stylized, harmonic mood of Foundations Recordings. After two critically acclaimed volumes of their producer-driven compilation series Tempo Dreams, Brooklyn’s Bastard Jazz Recordings is back with Volume 3 of the beat-centric, forward looking concept. For this edition, the label has tapped Soul Clap, the Boston bred international ambassadors of all things funky. Piloting their cosmic mothership all over the globe, Soul Clap have built a cult following worldwide both through their solo endevaors and via their Crew Love brand formed with Brooklyn’s Wolf+Lamb. Staying with the Tempo Dreams theme of showcasing new styles, emerging artists and the best of their beatmaking peers, Soul Clap has compiled a showcase of entirely unreleased modern funk, electro soul, and leftfield house music on this compilation, sure to make their spiritual guide Dr. Funkenstein aka George Clinton proud.

As in with previous volumes, the featured artists all come from different places, spaces and times but are tied together by the musical connection running concurrent on the record. Soul Clap’s unmistakable vibe is powerfully represented through their own original track “So Sedated”, a heavy chugging synth ode to the transformational powers of the dancefloor, featuring understated vocals by Dayonne Rollins. Crew Love & Dirtybird artist Tanner Ross teams up with Jules Born for “No 1 Else But You”, a late night off-kilter piece of nasty funk, while fellow teammate Navid Izadhi brings a Cali swagger with the smoothed out G-Funk vibes of “Cadillack”. The left coast is further represented by Pasadena’s XL Middleton whose “AntiSlumper” kicks off the album with a throwback boogie excursion, while the George Clinton-approved production team FSQ delivers the irresistible down & dirty “Break The Funk”. Amsterdam artist Tom Trago comes in tough with the electro porn of “Hard Cash” while NYC is represented fully with disco hero Tom Noble’s “Tanked”, Analog Player’s Society’s wavey “Enter City”, and Greg Paulus’s late night soul vibes on “Everything (Love Down)”.
