International Remixer and DJ - One Half of International Remixing Duo "Dirty Pop" - Owner of 69ing Chipmunks and Dirty Pop Productions

There are few sounds on the DJ circuit today as fresh and innovative as those of DrewG and his Dirty Pop brand. Based in Houston, but constantly being heard out on the road, this prolific DJ and music producer continues to push dance floors to the limit in clubs both in the U.S. and abroad.

DrewG’s trademark “Dirty Pop” brand and production team (with fellow producer Brian Cua) falls under the distinct umbrella of SoCal House — a blend of house, circuit, and EDM… all accompanied by the hottest vocals from the biggest names in music. The Dirty Pop brand also encompasses the No. 1 traveling dance party in the U.S., as well as the Dirty Pop apparel line.

Sonic boundaries mean nothing to DrewG – he breaks them week in and week out — thriving on the unexpected and never ceasing to surprise. A Dirty Pop live set is infused with relentless energy. Hard kicks and dark electro drops — set to both new vocals and classics — are common trademarks. DrewG flows in and out of tracks flawlessly and fans never see what might be coming.

DrewG’s production work is no stranger to the top of the Billboard Club Charts. Drew and Brian together have procured official remixes for some of the hottest music artists in the world, including Lady Gaga, Whitney Houston, Ke$ha, Britney Spears, Deborah Cox, and Mary J. Blige… just to name a few.

2014 and 2015 were particular banner years for Dirty Pop’s production work. Two of the biggest artists in the world — Beyoncé (“Blow,” “Pretty Hurts,” “Drunk In Love”, “711”, “Love on Top”) and Madonna (“Living For Love,” “Ghosttown”, “Bitch, I’m Madonna!” ) — personally selected DrewG and Brian to be official remixers of their latest hit singles. These productions are currently being used by DJs in clubs around the globe. More commissioned remixes from these artists are already cued up for the rest of 2015. Even Tiësto — one of the biggest DJs on the planet — has used Dirty Pop’s remixes in his live sets.

Amongst the numerous events around the globe that DrewG has played are New York City’s famous Black Party (as the youngest DJ ever to play the event, which he’s now done three times), numerous Cherry weekend events in Washington, DC, a 2008 Presidential Inaugural ball for President Barack Obama, Carnival in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Ski Weeks in Aspen, Colorado, Mammoth Lakes [Elevation], the Pink Party in Denver, CO, several of Jason Harrigan’s Mardi Gras events in Sydney, Australia, Dunes Resort events in Saugatuck, Michigan, Ascension weekend at Fire Island Pines, and Sand Blast in Asbury Park, New Jersey.

Dirty Pop is a true extension of DrewG’s artistic self. When challenges are thrown at him, he channels them into his music. A true craftsman, DrewG strives to constantly create. Through beats and melodies, he expresses his perspective on the world through music.

Copy Correct, aka Jeffrey Tice started composing music at the tender age of 9, on his family's piano and fell in love with making music. After getting his first synthesizer, Jeffrey discovered that he could do more with electronic instrumentation than with acoustic music, thus began his foray into electronic sounds. His early influences in music include artists like Erasure, Depeche Mode, Book of Love, Pet Shop Boys, and other New Wave synthpop artist, as well as Acid House, New Beat, and Punk Rock. While in high school, his best friend introduced him to DJ culture and underground dance music & showed him the basics of mixing records. After attending some of the first raves being thrown in and around Central Texas, Jeffrey became involved in Austin, Texas' early Rave and DJ community, and began spinning at house parties, warehouse gatherings, and at the seminal club Proteus. He is one of Austin, Texas' DJ culture pioneers!

Jeffrey Tice began producing original tracks early in his DJ career, often producing a track and playing it during one of his sets to wide acclaim. He has a great appreciation and understanding of electronic music, and DJing helps focus his production efforts.

Now residing in San Francisco, Jeffrey is a graduate of Pyramind, a music school that focuses on music production, theory & business. It was there that he began experimenting with mashups. Because after all, combining music with different sounds, textures, and genre is what a DJ does, and created his persona, Copy Correct.

With the slogan "This music is Faux Real." Copy Correct takes classic synthpop, electro pop, disco, early eighties jams, and whatever his heart desires and mashes them up to bring them into the now, redefining them for the modern listener, music fan, and dance floor. As Copy Correct, he elevates the art form of mashups; he challenges the common assumption that Mashups aren't real music...that they take no talent to create, won't last and that they're 'too easy'. He says that when hearing those things, he couldn't be happier, as a mashup artist because, "Afterall, they said the same thing about Jazz, Rock n' Roll, Heavy Metal, Punk, Disco, Hip-Hop & Electronic Music and we all know how that went."
