Combining unusual time signatures, catchy hooks and big vocal harmonies, Idle Playthings are just twisting what you know into something different.  In 2010, Idle Playthings entered Godiva Unsigned and went on to win the competition earning the right to share the bill with Badly Drawn Boy and Ash. Recently the band have been working hard writing new material, recording, playing the shows of their lives at great venues (including; Birmingham O2 Academy3, Birmingham Ballroom, Coventry Kasbah)

The Golden Troubadours are a dreamlike acoustic band from Nottingham who write unique soulful songs with shades of flamenco, folk, soul and blues performed with passion and feeling, which leave the heart-strings lovingly played.

With wistful, and often souring, vocals from Matthew Taylor, layered atmospheric guitar playing from both Lee Noon and Jade Bowman that compliments the beautifully melodic bass lines of James Pheasant and the percussion of Jason Allum, The Golden Troubadours are a wonderfully balanced group of musicians that blend all their skills into a silky, smooth sound, telling stories of love, hate, rejection and hope.

We formed in the early of 2009, Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. With the formation, Marga (voc+rhythm), Rio (drums), Icad (Bass+backvoc), Erwin (Lead Guitar+backvoc). Well not just like the other kids, playing music is like a hobby, not to Warehouse, music is like blood that always plays in our body. By hearing Led Zeppelin, Wolfmother, Datsuns, Clapton, Hendrik, John Campbell, and many others, we decided to make a band, building a dream, making all the vision as one well that’s Warehouse. We’re hoping the world could enjoy our music. Well then, just enjoy our show.

Blues rock from the Midlands in the youKay!...a blues rock 3 piece powerhouse!

Tom Byrne and Friends soulful mix of original material and inventive covers makes them a valuable asset to the Manchester music scene. The 8-piece outfit are well known for their high-energy performances and up-tempo rhythms that keep the audience dancing all night long. After appearances at Parklife and The Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival (European Blues Awards: ‘Best Festival 2013’) the band are looking forward to playing more gigs all over the North West whilst promoting their new E.P. ‘Breakout’, which is scheduled to be released in January 2014.

Jakub Šenšel aka Minor Rain started producing in 2009 From this year, actively involved in production, along with his friend as soundNbeats.
They have issued many labels like Breakfast Audio, Fokuz, Celsius, and more...
 In 2011 he created his own project called Minor Rain where he focuses on deeper styles and experimental electronic music.

I was always fascinated by music. when I was six parents have signed up for piano. I was an active him 6 years. Then I want to play on saxophone so I went for that. On sax I played for 2 years. Then I ended up with it and I stopped all my music activities. For a few years I have devoted to other things. But again I started to be interested for music. With my friend, we agreed that we´ll produce
music. We built a provisory studio in we constantly we looked for more and more technique. Quite quickly we got the first release. It was be point where we said "we can´t stop" and we haven´t stopped. We achieved a lot of labels. In 2011 I realized that I wanted to experiment and create tunes that I wanted to add more my feelings. But soundnbeats had two members, so everyone wanted something a little different. And so it occurred to me creating my own solo project
where I could fully develop.

Manière des Bohémiens play improvised Django Reinhardt, Stephane Grappelli influenced Gypsy Jazz and Eastern European swing. They are the most debauched, ecstatic and downright amazing live band you will have seen for a long while.
Gypsy jazz played with the jaunty abandon of a misspent youth and a broken heart arranged for 5 virtuoso musicians who travel around playing the violin, guitar, sax and double bass whilst dipping in and out of Parisian alleyways and absorbing pieces of the colourful lives they meet along the way. They have been entertaining the folks of Nottingham and far beyond for many years with their infectious blend of improvised, manouche jazz and rough-edged, virtuosic eastern-european gypsy-folk music.
Formed through a mutual love of gathering round warm festival bonfires and improvising, Maniére des Bohémiens spent many hours working together on the distinctive swing sound and many more on learning the melodies and developing them through improvisation.
Manière des Bohémiens' current line-up of Rob Rosa - Violin, Roger Rosa & Rob Coates - Guitars, Matt Marks – Accordion and Mark Houlgate - Bass have now collectively played over 400 shows which has created a tight, energetic sound which has made people get up on their feet up and down the land. This year was another huge step forwards for the band with a clutch of festival appearances including Boomtown, Port Eliot Literary Festival and Elderflower Festival. They’ve also appeared at Bestival, Camp Bestival, Summer Sundae, Matt & Phreds, Kendal Calling, Limetree, Headstock, Larmer Tree, Towersey Folk and Fire in the Mountain to name a few. They are regularly the headline act at their hometown Nottingham gigs and have also had support slots for Jools Holland, Polar Bear and Quantic. They've been played on 6 music several times and have been included on Tom Robinson's 'best of Introducing' podcast.
The word of mouth galvanising this band has been phenomenal and since their first big gig in October 2009 their following has grown resulting in packed out gigs left right and centre. They get people on their feet and have been attracting many ‘Lindy Hop' dancers who turn up, do their thing and get the dance floor moving!
Manière des Bohémiens continue to play regularly, gaining new followers as they go and introducing improvised gypsy-jazz to a new, younger generation. Manière des Bohémiens are available to play gigs at pubs, bars, cafes, festivals, weddings, busking spots, executions, bris milahs, etc...
