• Vamp was born and raised in London, England and has been DJ-ing over 32 years through all genres of dance music. He began his DJ career in small commercial, private parties, moved on to the underground House & Garage scene, and now has worked his way up to now have RESIDENCIES in world famous London clubs, as well as playing at clubs all over England and further a field



Inspired by the UK Garage Scene, the likes of Tuff Jam, Todd Edwards and the 4x4 club scene in the mid 90's, Vamp decided he wanted to add his own style, sound and influence on the scene. This paid off as he was chosen for a residency slot on the renowned Freek FM (101.8 FM) Radio Station in the UK, where he played a very funky bumpy garage set. During his time on Freek, he became more interested in House. With the sad decline of the garage scene at the time, it was love at first listen!!!



To check out and further pursue the new love of HOUSE, he booked a flight to Ibiza, the home of it all! It became a holiday in which he gave up his 1st love for his TRUE love... HOUSE MUSIC!!!! He has not looked back since!!



Vamp’s love of House Music then earned him his first major club residency at none other than the world famous PACHA, London with Love-Tec (where better off to start out on the London club scene?) From there he moved on to Smartie Partie at the world famous Turnmills (R.I.P) and then at Scala.



From there Jon Vamp ended up weekly club RESIDENT at the  much talked about THAT CLUB ( The House And Terrace Nightclub)  in North Greenwich, London From April 2008 to December 2010 . There, he has gotten to play for the likes of such promotions as In Bed with Space, Deluded, Kinky Malinki, Tingle, Bora Bora UK, Terrace Sessions, We Love Beefa and many more!!!  His musical style and vibes secured him a monthly resident slot for IN BED WITH SPACE at THAT LONDON.



I have been lucky enough to play alongside a long list of world-class dj's that include Xpress 2, Sir Norman Jay, Oliver Lang, Alex Miles, Brandon Block, Alex P, ATFC, Mutiny, Jupiter Ace, Gorden Edge, Boy George, Jonathan Ulysses, Raymondo Rodriguez, Nick Bridges(Bodyrox) Steve Smart(kiss fm), Sonny Wharton, Peter Gelderblom, Jason Herd, James Talk, Mischa Daniels, Clint Lee, Timo Gracia, Micheal Gray, Trophy Twins, Mr C, Lisa German, and many many more!!....





And now after a little bit of a break from the scene I'm back with a few weekly shows on Tictok every Wednesday and Sunday from 18.30 uk time.
