система | system is proud to present a compilation of various Ukrainian artists and performers "SESTRO".

"SESTRO" is a compilation of electronic music from the Odesa-based label система | system, designed to bring together musicians from Ukraine who have been released on our label and performed at events we have organized. For many years we strive to cover a wide, diverse, and adventurous spectrum of Ukrainian music. The goal of the compilation is to directly financially support (ГО Сфера) Sphere (@womenspheresolidarity) which is a Kharkiv-based organization that actively helps women and LGBT+ people from eastern Ukraine in territories that are heavily affected by war. NGO Sphere (ГО Сфера) supplies crisis kits for women in frontline areas and also provides financial assistance to vulnerable groups of women, organizes legal and medical consultations, provides psychological assistance, informational campaigns, and activist events.

"We have never had an experience of working with women in conditions of stress, shock, and grief like today. Now we are trying to gather our experience and the experience of our colleagues from other countries to help deal with the terrible consequences of the survivors" - Anna Sharygina, a representative of NGO Sphere (ГО Сфера).

We believe that giving visibility to Ukrainian culture is an important part of our struggle, because Russia's war against Ukraine is imperialistic in nature, and for three centuries the works of Ukrainian authors have been denied and destroyed.
We will never agree to be dominated. We want, as artists, to give all possible support through our work to the brave volunteers now active in Ukraine, who are heroically fighting to save the most vulnerable.

"SESTRO" - це компіляція електронної музики від одеського лейблу система | system, яка покликана об'єднати музикантів_ок з України, що випускалися на нашому лейблі та виступали на організованих нами заходах. Протягом багатьох років ми прагнемо висвітлювати широкий та різноманітний спектр української музики. Мета компіляції — надати пряму матеріальну підтримку організації Сфера (@womenspheresolidarity) з Харкова, що наразі активно допомагає жінкам та ЛГБТ+ людям зі Сходу України на територіях, які сильно страждають від війни. ГО Сфера постачає кризові комплекти для жінок у прифронтових районах, а також надає фінансову допомогу вразливим групам жінок, організовує юридичні та медичні консультацій, надає психологічну допомогу, проводить інформаційні кампанії, активістські заходи.

“В нас ніколи не було досвіду роботи із жінками в умовах такого стресу, шоку і горя. Наразі ми намагаємося зібрати свій досвід і досвід наших подруг з інших країн, щоб допомогти впоратися з жахливими наслідками пережитих подій тим, хто вижив” - Анна Шаригіна, представниця ГО Сфера.

Ми вважаємо, що надання видимості українській культури є важливою частиною нашої боротьби, адже війна Росії проти України, має імперіалістичний характер і протягом трьох століть твори українських авторів_ок піддавали цензурі та знищували. Ми боремося проти Росії, що прагне нас колонізувати, ми боремося за нашу свободу, ми ніколи не погодимося, щоб над нами панували. Ми хочемо, як художниці_ки, своєю роботою надати всю можливу підтримку хоробрим волонтеркам, які діють зараз в Україні та відважно боряться за порятунок найуразливіших груп населення.

The third instalment of the remixes from J:Kenzo's 2019 album 'Taygeta Code' sees four killer producers take on each remix in their own unique style across the 140 bpm spectrum.

BOYLAN (Sentry / Mean Streets) leads the dance with his 140 bpm jungle / breaks flip of 'Like A Hawk' which features vocals by the mighty FLOWDAN. Bringing the heat in heavy and devastating fashion!

MANI FESTO (Rupture / Club Glow) steps up with his electro breaks remix of the modular dance floor heater 'Deadbull', with filtered breaks and a high energy bounce.

Canadian dubstep new blood MYTHM (Artikal / Wheel & Deal) delivers his heavyweight remix of album highlight 'Narky'. The Vancouver native flips the groove and levels up the energy bringing additional heat to his version. 

The final remix is from new Artikal signing UNKEY (Foto Sounds) who takes on the album opener 'Desired State'. Unkey turns the air dark, strips back the vibe and uses sub heavy minimalism to inject a feeling of dread throughout his remix to put a stamp on the finale covering 4 corners of the world of Dubstep and 140 music.

Field Notes is a sonic distillation of 5 years of notes taken on Planet Terr in the Virgo Supercluster. There was a remarkable similarity between some of the flora, fauna, fungi and even topography found on Terr and on Earth. Until the dust settles on the phylogenetics of Terr, I’ve used adjacent English common names and Latin wherever possible for clarity. I had the most success implementing Wavetable and FM modalities when transcribing my notes, and I can only hope that they will prove as helpful to you as they have to me. Special thanks to OrangeTone for making my field notes more legible and to OT & Estle for the first study into their broader implications.

Standard Deviation is a new multidisciplinary label working on the intersection of music, art, and publishing, aiming to foster collaborative exchange between an aspiring Ukrainian scene and the global community.
 
As an offspring of ∄ club, for its 1st-anniversary Standard Deviation presents a compilation of tracks by eight emerging Ukrainian artists with diverse musical backgrounds. The compilation aims to reflect the current state of the Ukrainian electronic music scene. It includes Nastya Vogan and Recid, residents of ∄ club, Voin Oruwu with his futurist sound, singers, and producers from Lviv Katarina Gryvul and Maryana Klochko, Pep Gaffe community resident Tofudj, experimental musician John Object, as well as hardcore and gabber music purveyor Genetica.
 
∄ is a non-binary, safe space in Kyiv, vibrating to the sounds of electronic music. Every season space assumes a new name and a new identity that shows itself throughout the program. 

Maryana Klochko is a singer and producer from Lviv, Ukraine. She explores the voice as a deep connection with the inner self and collaborates with the film and fashion industries. In 2019, Maryana became a resident of the Gaude Polonia program.
