Some music, covers and bits of stuff and things

A good cover/tribute band has to have two things - a healthy respect for the source material, and spot-on vocals. Luckily, The Bill, have those qualities and a whole lot more. 

Our bassist handles the main vocals and is a perfect sound-a-like to Sting and our drummer has Stewart Copeland’s signature loose grasp on timing, whether intentional or not! How about all those glassy chords and swirling delays Andy Summers was famous for? All within the hands and effects at our Guitarist's feet. 

We base our sound/set on the 2006-08 reunion tour where the arrangements were stripped down and gutsy whilst still sounding like the classic songs people know and love. We bring a few of Sting’s solo songs into the set as well, with arrangements loosely based on his 2006 Montreaux Jazz festival performance. 

Most importantly, everything is created live by the three musicians on stage, no additional players, hidden singers or backing tracks are used at any time.

I live in Glasgow. Have been slowly writing songs on my home computer.

Fallen Arches is the new solo project from singer songwriter Colin Bell. usually hidden behind the drums in various bands over the years he has decided to take centre stage and go it alone.
