Cold Cake is a music project run by John "Trout" Housez (guitars, bass, electric ukulele, vocals, digital chicanery, composing, recording, engineering, producing, mixing, mastering). His collaborator is Dave "Geezer" Liddell (vocals, clarinet, sax, major word snacks). John and Dave both live in Ontario, Canada.

Together they create psychedelic/jazzy/electronic pop weirdness/poetry madness/twisted good humour music. Influences include Frank Zappa, Captain Beefheart, The Beatles, IceJJFish, Devo, Butthole Surfers, Negativland, Boards of Canada, and The Residents.
