Where it all began, this was one of Shodah’s first original albums during his years leading the rock band Audio Tap from 2012 to 2021. From long, noisy nights on tour across the UK to the sparks of creation that birthed these tracks, Audio Tap carved a deep groove into Shodah’s life and artistic voice. Now, fully recorded with vocals, guitar, and bass performed by Shodah, the album finally steps into the light it’s always deserved!

Sleep With The Lights On

The concept album reflects on the lives of those who fade into society’s margins—quiet, unnoticed, often overlooked. It portrays a city that is both shelter and maze, a place where destinies unravel and hopes flicker, yet small sparks of humanity still break through the darkness.

It looks where most people never do: toward the wounded, the forgotten, the ones who keep breathing despite every fall.
At its heart, the album says: anyone can stumble, everyone deserves to be seen, and unseen lines connect us all—if we choose to notice them.
