Ethereal Funk And The Used Car Emporiums is a band from Vancouver, Canada. John Nicholson is the founding member.  The influences are mainly rock based.  "While the word "Funk" is in the title of this project, and there are some funkier tracks here, it points more towards the process of figuring out who I am down to my core." And "crisis of faith" sounded like a metal band out of Nashville or something.
The movie "Rumble" had a fairly profound impact on John. He said, "Watching Rumble, a movie about various First Nation musicians, including Link Wray, made me realize my musical, and my genetic roots go back, in part, to my First Nation roots."
