'Growing Pains' is the collaborative effort of Boorloo-originating artists Friend of a Friend & nabii. FOAF's hard house leaning matches with nabii's growingly reputable hyper pop credentials to create a summer-tinged anthem that couldn't be more perfectly timed.

Of the track, FOAF shared:

"A homage to the tunes I used to make, and growing out of that sound to go in the direction with my music that’s yet to come. Combining nabiis vocals with a nostalgic guitar riff from @beltrac seemed fitting. Been a big fan of Nabii for a while now and felt right working on something with her. Makes it even better she’s putting our hometown of Perth (Boorloo) on the map."

nabii commented that "when we first started to collaborate we demo shared and i sent a bunch of vocal ideas before we landed on this vocal. I originally wrote this topline last year, over a different instrumental. The original demo had a lot of sentimental meaning to me, but i never actually did anything with it. So i'm glad it had the chance to come to life instead of sitting in hard drive prison!!!"

'Growing Pains' comes to us from EP 'Free Spirit' seeing release via DJ PLANET EXPRESS' 'No Content' label. The full project releases tomorrow, Friday, October 24.
