سلسلة هاري بوتر (بالإنجليزية: Harry Potter) سلسلة من سبعة كتب للكاتبة البريطانية ج. ك. رولنغ؛ تحكي حكاية الصبي الساحر هاري بوتر، منذ اكتشافه لحقيقة كونه ساحراً، وحتى بلوغه سن السابعة عشرة، فتكتشف ماضيه، وعلاقاته السحرية، وسعيه للقضاء على سيد الظلام لورد فولدمورت. وترافق سلسلة الكتب سلسلة من سبعة أفلام تحمل نفس عناوين الكتب.
حققت سلسلة هاري بوتر نجاحاً هائلاً منذ صدور الجزء الأول منها هاري بوتر وحجر الفلاسفة في 1998، وتُرجمت إلى معظم لغات العالم الحية ومنها العربية. بيع من الكتاب السادس هاري بوتر والأمير الهجين عشرة ملايين نسخة عشية صدوره، واعتبر أكثر الكتب مبيعاً في التاريخ، حتى صدور الكتاب السابع والنهائي من السلسلة هاري بوتر ومقدسات الموت الذي بيع منه ثمانية ملايين نسخة في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وحدها عشية صدوره في 21 يوليو 2007.
اكتملت سلسلة كُتب هاري بوتر بصدور الكتاب السابع والنهائي، فيما أبدت المؤلفة رولنغ نيتها عدم العودة إلى عالم هاري بوتر إلا لأغراض خيرية. أُنتج من الكتب 8 أفلام لتكتمل السلسة، عُرض آخرها هاري بوتر ومقدسات الموت في 15 يوليو 2011.
بالإضافة إلى مغامرات هاري بوتر في عالم السحر، أصدرت رولنغ ثلاثة كتب أخرى ضمن عالم هاري بوتر هم: الوحوش المذهلة وأين تجدها عن الحيوانات السحرية التي ذُكرت ولم تذكر في السلسلة، وكويدتش عبر العصور وهو كتاب عن رياضة السحرة المفضلة في السلسلة الكويدتش، وكذلك حكايات بيدل الشاعر الذي يحتوي قصصاً شعبية من العالم السحري.

Harry James Potter (b. 31 July 1980) was a half-blood wizard, the only child and son of James Potter and Lily Potter (née Evans), and one of the most famous wizards of modern times. In what proved to be a vain attempt to circumvent a prophecy that a boy born at the end of July of 1980 would be able to defeat him, Voldemort tried to murder him when he was a year and three months exactly after murdering Harry's parents as they tried to protect him. This early, unsuccessful attempt to vanquish Harry led to Voldemort's first defeat and the end of the First Wizarding War. One consequence of Lily's protection is that her orphaned son had to be raised by her only remaining blood relative, with her Muggle sister Petunia's family, where he was neither welcomed nor nurtured, but would stay alive, at least until he was seventeen years old. As the only known survivor of the Killing Curse up to that point, Harry was already famous before he arrived at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Early on his eleventh birthday, Harry learned from Rubeus Hagrid, the Hogwarts gamekeeper, that he was a wizard. He began attending Hogwarts in 1991 and was Sorted into Gryffindor house. While at school, Harry became best friends with Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger. He became the youngest Quidditch Seeker in over a century and eventually captain of his house's team, winning two Quidditch Cups.[11] He became even better known in his early years for protecting the Philosopher's Stone from Voldemort and saving Ron's sister Ginny Weasley from the Chamber of Secrets. In his fourth year, Harry won the Triwizard Tournament, although the competition ended in tragedy with the death of Cedric Diggory and the return of Voldemort. The next school year, Harry reluctantly founded Dumbledore's Army and fought in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, during which he lost his godfather, Sirius Black, who was a father figure to him.

Harry played a significant role in many other battles of the Second Wizarding War and hunted down and destroyed Voldemort's Horcruxes with Ron and Hermione. During the Battle of Hogwarts, he personally witnessed the deaths of Severus Snape and Fred Weasley, and learned that Remus Lupin, Nymphadora Tonks, Colin Creevey, and many others had fallen as well. He encountered Voldemort and sacrificed himself, knowing that his doing so was the only way to destroy the fragment of Voldemort's soul that was inside him. In Harry's near-death experience after Voldemort cursed him in the forest clearing, Dumbledore gave Harry advice and background information on Voldemort. When told he could choose to live or to "move on," Harry chose to live, and after he awoke he confronted Voldemort, and defeated him.

Harry is also notable for being the only known Master of Death, having united the three Deathly Hallows.

After the war, Harry became an Auror and married Ginny, with whom he had three children: James Sirius who he named after his father and godfather, Albus Severus, named after Snape and Dumbledore, and Lily Luna, named after his mother and good friend Luna Lovegood. Harry was also named the godfather of Ted Lupin. He became Head of the Auror Office in 2007, and occasionally travelled to Hogwarts to deliver Defence Against the Dark Arts lectures.

I love the sense of unity in this finale, it contrasts amazingly to the beginning of the film where we get this sense of Harry being isolated and alone.

The Glitch Mob - Fortune Days

A few years back, I played and performed one of my favorite themes from Lord of the Rings The Two Towers Soundtrack:   The Rohan Theme.  I used it as a way to test out a new sample library of orchestra sounds, and was pleased with the results.  This is Howard Shore's masterpiece, in a great sounding midi format.   No sheet music was used for this.

Born in 1991 to a nice family, Johnson Zhang is one of the most famous people. He began playing on keyboard at the age of 10 where he learned Kids on Keyboard at primary school. He was one of the most famous students in Connells Point Public School where he made good friends from Year 5. There, he started to learn how to play the piano and learnt how to play the pieces by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin and so on. Then he moved to high school where he became popular in year 9 where he became SRC in Year 10 and then became prefect in Year 12. There, he grew his passion and interest in music by playing classical, contemporary and jazz music and listened to performers. Then, he moved on to university called Australian International Conservatorium of Music where he learned how to do harmony, musicianship, history of music. He then became so popular where everyone enjoys talking and socialising with him about everything he has done to set AICM alight. He is also involved in ensemble with classical and contemporary students.  He officially graduated in 2012 where next year (2013), he'll be doing his Masters of Teaching at a different university to learn how to teach music. He'll continue to play on piano and learn new pieces by composers by himself. For him, it's just a beginning. Johnson Zhang: the next Mozart with the generation and personality, also have Chopin's hands, Beethoven's serious look and many more of composers personality he resembles. Long live Johnson Zhang and his piano playing!
