This is an instrumental track I've been working on for a couple weeks. I really had fun playing the drums and my u-bass on this one....Plus, I added sax, gtr, organ, percussion, and various atmospherics.

BUTTERFLY BUZZ

The Nightporter is one of my most favorite tracks from the legendary band Japan, which is the collective work of Richard Barbieri, David Sylvian, Steve Jansen, and Mick Karn.

This is a cover of that track, and while I've stuck to the original arrangement, I've somewhat stylized it radically different and in a fun, but respectful way.  These four individuals from Japan (and Rain Tree Crow), were very inspiring to me as I grew in my own path towards musicianship and artistry.

This is also for an old friend of mine, Jeff Peterson, who used to play the Nightporter with me on his parents upright piano when we were in our youth.
