Loved my set on Sunday so much in the late afternoon sun, continuing to rock the dance floor on the main rig, mixing up this 150bpm stomper with some acid techno classics 😎 

All of you that were out there, getting your groove on with me… the energy was amazing, it always means so much, thank you!!  I hope you enjoyed a good ole funkin’ stomp!!! 

It is always such a pleasure and privilege to meet, work, chill, party and play along side the cream of the crop, meeting so many outstanding International dj’s and producers that I have respected over years. This year included meeting The Geezer and Miss Mayhem at the end of my set smashing out some of his tunes!!! Priceless!!!

Thanks to the professional organisers and crews sorting everything, sound, lights, decor, stalls, performance, refreshments and such a friendly vibe to make a perfectly rare micro festival… The Beat Goes On… 😁 🔈 🎶

A micro-festival an explosion of music, art & performance showcasing music genres:  Acid Techno, Hard House, NRG, DnB, Jungle, Reggae, Dub  & Psy Trance.

A range of leading underground DJs from the U.K. & Europe perform across three stages over 36 hours to bring the very latest in underground sounds.

In 2023 we have joined forces with Carry on Avinit & Brothers Grim - We Speak Techno to launch a club night in Bristol WE ‘R’ ACID several events are already booked for 2024.

Robak, mieszkający obecnie w Krakowie, to postać znana osobom interesującym się polską sceną hard acid / freetekno.
W drugiej połowie szalonych lat 90-tych złapał bakcyla na taneczną elektronikę, zwłaszcza jej mocniejszą stronę, i tak mu już zostało. Niestrudzony teknoturysta, zdzierający parkiety na imprezach liczonych do dziś w setkach, dj, organizator imprez, promotor, winylowy freak. Od lat gra na niezliczonej ilości imprez, plenerów, free parties w całej Polsce.

Współorganizował krakowski cykl R.AVE!, będąc odpowiedzialnym za bookingi zagranicznych i krajowych producentów / dj's, takich jak: Miss Katinka, Bad Boy Pete, Sterling Moss, Benji303, Tiago Santos czy OB1 aka Olly Berry. 

Od 2017 organizuje również swój cykl ACID PARTY w krakowskim Warsztacie, gdzie gościli m.in. Fil Devious, Sted Hellvis, Al Mac, Illegal Swede, Seon, Dj Zyco, Ciuciek, Vlado, Loczii, Noradrenalin, Dill i inni.

Obecnie jest także w NOSTROMO SOUNDYSTEM - krakowskiej ekipie znanej z organizacji imprez i free parties gdzie gości głownie cięższa i szybsza elektronika.

Mówi się, że w żyłach szlachetnie urodzonych płynie błękitna krew, w jego zaś zdecydowanie krąży jej kwaśna odmiana. Sety Robaka przepełnione są konkretnym 303. Pełne dynamiki i swoistego transowego polotu nakręcają publikę, bez względu na to, czy pociska warm up, zamyka party porannym setem, czy też przejmuje deki w najgorętszym momencie imprezy.

Ok, so im from Southampton, and spin trance and techno from early 90s through to early 00s. I have been collecting vinyl for nearly 25 years, but only started mixing again recently. I have never considered using anything other than vinyl, until 2021.

My main influence is mark eg. Seeing and hearing him smash dreamscape 21 was immense. An entertainer, a madman, and a damn good set builder, be it trance or techno. Always sought him out at events such as skelter, dreamscape, and the one and only country club in Evershot.

During the 1990s i travelled the country going to events such Dreamscape, Helter Skelter, Hysteria, Devotion, Fusion, Tazzmania and Hardcore Heaven. The smaller events were always my faves. The Shire Horse in St Ives, Country Club, The Coven in Oxford and a little Club called Jollys  in Southampton. Listening to some of the biggest the scene has seen in its history. 

Old skool hardcore was my first love. Sterns, peace festival were tapes i used to collect. Around 93/94 i started hearing different sounds. They were of course, trance and techno. Dave Angel, trevor rockcliffe, colin dale, gayle san, mach one, warlock, colin favor,craig walsh. European sounds with UK and Anerican techno. Then the trance from europe, which had a different vibe. A euphoric sound which of course, went hand in hand with ecstacy. Hard sounds with uplifting breaks and undertones. Mark EG and M-Zones first ever set in the technodrome were massive points. DJs who were ahead of the game with the euro sound. Kenny Sharp and Vortex also pushing the more obscure stuff. How many unknown tunes are there to still be named from their sets???

Also a mention to other titans from yesteryear. Clarkee, scorpio, producer, aggressor, slipmatt, ellis dee, ratty, carl cox, hype, mickey finn, donovan smith, dolphin and 3Dom

MCs Ribbz (god), squidgy, EZy, sharkey, Marley, Lux, Lox, frostie, Mad P, GQ, robbie dee, lennie and digger.

I prefer to mix a more melodic slower trance set, as opposed to a fast trance set. Everyone knows the classics from back in the day.
