For this track I used 11 instances of a wonderful synth named Thorn by Dmitry Sches (DS Audio). All modulations of the parameters have been done live by making use of aftertouch and/or the modulation wheel. So no automations other than some volume changes here and there. In a studio setting, I think this makes the music nice and organic. Of course, a DJ on stage always does this. 

The title “Anemoia” is referring to the phenomenon of feeling nostalgic to a time or place that one has not experienced before...

I HAD JUST TYPED OUT ALL THE DAMN INSTANCES AND CLOSED THE PROJECT **** YOU FIREFOX HAD TO CRASH THE TAB

Anyways this is my first time entering the contest!

If I remember properly there were 53 instances of Thorn, 3 instances of OTT, 41 instances of ReaEQ, 3 instances of ReEQ, 3 instances of Event Horizon Clipper, 1 ReaLimit, 2 JS Saturation, 1 ReaXComp, 2 instances of ReaGate, 1 instance of ReaComp, and I think thats everything. I used these just to make the song feel more full and to make the instruments blend together better. I also used the stereo width slider in the reaper tracks themselves a bit. Carla is just a bridge to run Windows plugins on Linux but it doesn't change the sound other than that, there are a lot of them though.

Story
Universe of Stars.
In the beginning, there was no time. Only a whisper: the echo of a stellar heart beating in the darkness. From that pulse was born Ainur, the Mother Nebula, woven from threads of consciousness and the dust of forgotten myths. Ainur did not create the universe: she dreamed it.
Each star that sprang from her womb was a soul, a god, a destiny. Some shone with ancient wisdom; others burned with rage, chaos, or desire. Thus were born the Seven Celestial Choirs, entities that sang the structure of the cosmos:
• Khaelis, the Choir of Time, wove the clocks of the worlds.
• Vireya, the Choir of Silence, held the secrets of black holes.
• Tharion, the Choir of Fire, ignited the passions of civilizations.
• Eloen, the Choir of Water, sowed life on slumbering planets.
• Nym, the Choir of the Wind, guided the stellar migrations.
• Zarh, the Choir of Death, gathered the fading lights.
• Luneth, the Choir of Dreams, wove alternate realities at the edges of space.
But one day, the Ainur stopped beating.
Their silence caused a rift in the harmony: the choirs began to fall out of tune, and from that dissonance was born Klodii, a being without a choir, without origin, without destiny. Klodii sang and spoke. And her words were capable of altering matter, of rewriting constellations, of awakening dormant worlds.
The choirs feared her. Civilizations worshipped her. And amidst the chaos, a new melody began to emerge: the Symphony of Rebirth, composed of hybrid voices, human and cosmic, that sought to restore the heartbeat of the Ainur.
