My submission for OSC192 using Six Sines Synth by BaconPaul  Inspired by oriental music

Bedouin Dreams OSC192

I used some factory presets, a couple of TSOM presets (1 Pad) and DR (1 Kick), and modified many presets, especially to create a drum kit. This was a really tough challenge because I still have a lot to learn about synths in general, and this synth, despite being truly beautiful, is very complicated for me.
I have to thank The Sound of Merlin, CrazyIvan, NeverBeeenInARiot, and Taron (also for the tutorials, thanks to which I somehow managed to create some presets) for their patience, moral and technical support. I received really great advice 😊

En novembre 2025 sortait sur le label Pagans, la bande son que j'ai créé avec François Dumeaux pour la pièce « Un Récit » de la Compagnie Lilo, pièce écrite par Émilie Esquerré.

Un Récit raconte l'histoire d'un viol en se concentrant sur le difficile chemin parcouru par la victime pour pouvoir en parler, libérer sa parole afin de se délivrer de la souffrance.

C'est une très belle pièce où il est question de mémoire, de résilience, de retrouver les petits bouts de soi éparpillés après un événement aussi destructeur. Y faire face avec courage et détermination pour retrouver l'espoir. Et en donner aussi.

La musique traditionnelle y prend une place centrale, énergie libératrice, poésie brute dans laquelle la narratrice se réfugie pour retrouver son souffle et se tenir debout.
