The hype behind the phenomenal track and the mysterious artists behind it continued to grow with frenzied ferocity until the release of “Mistakes” on SIZE Records in February. That piece of progressive heaven proved to only be the start for the since announced Spanish artists, who have gone on to release incredible official remixes for CID and Highly Sedated as well as grace the stages of festivals such as Tomorrowland. So lets be honest, labels are usually slow. From when they sign your records to when they come out can be between 2-12 months... maybe even longer. But in the case of this absolute weapon, we only signed this 3 weeks ago.

I'm going to say when you hear the first 5 seconds of a track you know wether or not your going to keep listening. You then listen for another 30 seconds and you decide wether you like it. If you make it through the entire way without skipping on your first listen, chances are you're going to love it.

That is exactly how we felt when first hearing 'So Bad' by Rocksted & Korvo. It's as if Kyle Watson and Billy Kenny's music made love and gave birth to a record baby.

I think you get the point...

Instead of explaining to you in 'musical' terminology how this track sounds. For this one, we ask you to listen from start to finish, close your eyes, dance a little and enjoy what is the magic of 'So Bad'

Jamie Jones joins forces with New York’s David Berrie for an electrifying two track release on Hot Creations. Doctor Zouk is the result of a friendship spanning many years, and is set to be unleashed this Autumn.

Title track Doctor Zouk is a bumpy, chuggy roller with a prominent percussive break and heady tribal undertone. Future Society uses thumping drum pads over a growling bassline with unmistakable high hats weaved together over futuristic synths.

Jamie Jones is one of the industry’s most in demand and recognised DJs. He heads up one of Ibiza’s most treasured parties, Paradise at DC10, and now takes it to all corners of the globe. His revered Hot Creations imprint has put out more than one hundred releases as well as playing a major part in launching the careers of Patrick Topping, Richy Ahmed and Detlef.

Spending his formative years in New York, sneaking into the city’s diverse and flamboyant nightclubs and heavily influenced by a broad spectrum of genres, it wasn’t long before David Berrie took to the turntables. He released on Jones’ Hottrax label last year and has had a number of releases on Nervous and Monique Sp é ciale. He commands regular slots at BPM festival as well as at the Paradise nights.
